I am so glad I bought these lamps! I love the size and materials. They feel substantial and sturdy. They arrived well-packaged, and the instructions included a white glove in a pretty blue envelope--not sure why, as there are no halogen bulbs. I was waffling between this lamp and a more expensive lamp, also in brushed nickel. I settled for these, but by the time I put them on my night stands, I was absolutely smitten, and so glad I didn't spend the extra dollars on a lamp I wouldn't have liked as much as I love these. Not sure if you can tell, but the shade is a very pretty off-white with a linen-look texture. Boyfriend put each of these together in about 5 minutes, and said they were easy. He'd recently put together a standing lamp from a different major red retailer, and had had difficulty with the threads. He remarked with delight (relief?) that these lamps, on the other hand, had very nice threads that made assembly go much more smoothly. The lamp shade cloth unrolls onto a frame very easily (maybe this is what the white glove is for?) The pull-chain operates smoothly without force, and does NOT cause the lamp to tip. I'd been concerned that this could be a problem, but not to worry. Even the pull chain is nice and hefty. I'm in love with the looks and quality of these lamps. These take standard-sized light bulbs. In fact, I am using an Ikea LED warm light bulb--perfect! Almost forgot--a USB port was a must-have, and I prefer it on the edge of the base, as with this lamp, not sticking up from the top. The port works as intended, and charges our phones as we sleep. LOVE LOVE LOVE these. Oh--one more thing, the styrofoam in the packing is contained in a plastic bag so as not to make a huge mess when unpacking--nice touch.

I have mixed feelings. I currently love the lamps now that we’ve had them for a month and a half, however, they initially sent us 2 different styles of this lamp. One had a kind of grainy tan looking color shade that was assembled by rolling the flat Velcro frame/ring around the top and bottom of the shade. The other lamp had a solid white color shade that was assembled by rolling the rounded frame/ring around the top and bottom of the shade and pushing it into the clamps that were attached. So not only were the shades different colors, but when the lights were on you could see through the tops and bottoms of the shade how the frame/ring was made differently. Anyway, they basically claim the products are the same by selling them under the same name. Amazon sent us a new lamp right away and told us to just return the one we don’t want within 30 days. I was ready to box up the white shaded lamp and send it back (because the cover picture on amazon shows the tan one) and we ended up receiving another white shaded lamp as the replacement....so I sent the tan one back. I love them now that we have matching lamps and amazon was helpful by sending us a new one so quickly, but just be aware that this may happen to you too and it’s pretty inconvenient. Maybe they changed the design? I don’t know...if they did though, they should stop sending out the old design.

This table lamp with USB is perfect for the pricing and style. The pieces screwed together easily and the USB works even with the lamp off. The light pull feels sturdy and not dinky. They feel better quality than ones I have bought from Target and the base is sturdy, in that it won't tip over when pulling to turn on. The only things to mention is that the lamp shade requires assembly. The color of the shade is a fabric off white/light ivory. Essentially, unroll the fabric shade, then roll the one piece onto the 2 metal pieces which are attached with velcro. It takes a bit of finesse to get the shade on straight but since it's attached with velcro, very easy to fix. I did this all by myself just fine, in about 15 minutes including unpacking it all and attaching the shade. But with a helping hand, putting together the shade would be easier. I've been looking for hotel style, contemporary lamps for a while and other comparable lamps cost more. I am happy with the purchase and I bought 2 matching lamps for my night stands.

I bought both the table lamp and floor lamp together – the floor lamp was super easy to assemble, but I screwed a part of the table lamp in wrong and got it stuck (100% my fault for not reading the instructions). I reached out to the seller directly and they responded almost immediately with detailed instructions on how to fix the issue, but I didn't have the necessary tools to do so (a small wrench), so they sent out a replacement free of charge, which arrived less than a week later. Seriously, great customer service.The lamps themselves are quite nice, they feel well constructed and look the same as they do in the pictures, and the pull chain action is also pretty smooth and satisfying. The brushed steel finish is fingerprint-proof, although the lamps do come with a cute little white glove in the box.Do note that since the lamp is asymmetrical, it does lean EVER SO SLIGHTLY if the base is on carpet (like mine is). Shouldn't be an issue on hardwood, but it's not really noticeable unless you're looking for it.

This is a good-looking lamp of solid construction. I especially like the pull chain. In this world of robots and AI, I can do something for myself for a change. The negative for me is the LED maximum permitted bulb is too low to be a really good reading lamp. Not even equal to a 75W, and I like a 100W. The perk of the device charger is great. I really like the lamp, all things considered.

The media could not be loaded.  Beautiful hotel style lamp with pull chain. Smooth operation of pull chain, perfect size lamp for bedside! Looks expensive and was very easy to put together, took me less than 5 minutes for each lamp. The connector for the phone is a nice bonus feature too. I would like one for every room!
