It really is the most underrated option. I’ve looked around a lot for similar priced, and even more expensive options for oily/combo full coverage foundation, but this random one I picked off the shelf 10 years ago has always been number one. It is full coverage, so it’s looks like you’re wearing makeup. it does not get sticky or tacky, and remains on the face pretty much all day. I comfortably wear it for 8-10 hours without feeling oily or gross. It builds well with other products, both Revlon and not. There’s transfer on other things, like if you hug someone, do not rest your face anywhere on them. But you can also safely cry with no product trails down your face! It survives pretty well when touched or when coming to contact with other things without any noticeable bare patches, but it does still transfer very easily, so this can build over time and cause bare patches. I haven’t noticed any permanent stains on anything, but I’m also careful with light coloured fabrics. If you’ve got oily or combination skin and you’re on the market, I’d say definitely give this a try.

I’ve been using the Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation in 110 Ivory for the past few weeks and I’m genuinely impressed. For the price (especially when it’s on sale), this is one of the best drugstore foundations I’ve tried.What I love:Matte finish that actually lasts — It lives up to the 24HR claim for me. By the end of a 10+ hour day, my skin still looks smooth and shine-free in the T-zone, which is huge for combination/oily skin. Medium-to-full coverage — It covers redness and minor imperfections really well without feeling cakey. A little goes a long way; I only need 1–1.5 pumps for full face. SPF 15 — Nice bonus for daily wear, though I still layer sunscreen underneath. Shade match — 110 Ivory is a great pale/neutral match for me. It blends seamlessly and doesn’t oxidize much. Vitamin E & antioxidant formula — My skin feels comfortable even after long wear. Minor notes:It can emphasize dry patches if your skin is dehydrated, so good moisturizing/skincare prep is key. The pump is convenient but sometimes dispenses a bit more than needed. Scent is very faint and dissipates quickly (not heavily fragranced like some older formulas). This has become my everyday go-to when I want a reliable, long-wearing matte look without spending $40+. The fact that it has tens of thousands of reviews and still holds a solid 4.5 stars says a lot. Highly recommend if you have oily or combination skin and prefer a true matte finish.Would buy again — already planning to repurchase when I run out! My go to foundation . Good price . Good amount in the bottle . Great coverage . It’s a medium coverage and you can build up. It doesn’t have any stinky strong smell like others do . It’s good texture and I highly recommend as a budget foundation that’s good quality

First, about me: light to medium skin tone, neutral undertones, 30 years old, female, combination/oily (mostly oily in T-Zone), acne prone (mostly hormonal), and I experience redness by my nose and cheeks. What I was looking for in foundation: medium/buildable coverage, controls oiliness, long lasting, doesn’t transfer, doesn’t budge, doesn’t settle into my pores or lines. What I have tried: - MAC prolong wear nourishing waterproof foundation in color NC27 — this color was great for the winter/early spring. It matched perfectly and didn’t oxidize. However, it did a terrible job with controlling my oiliness & shine. After a full day, it started to fill my pores and lines on my forehead. I was not even going to test it’s waterproof ability because it was just sitting on my face and would wipe off with just a light touch. Perhaps it just needs a good setting powder or spray (which I have not found yet). - Kat Von D Lock-it foundation — Um, this was a joke. The colors are not great. I tried two (I used online tools to find the right shade) and one was too yellow. The other was actually fine, but I had already tanned quite a bit by the time it was delivered, so it was a bit on the lighter side. I tried this product several ways, with and without primer, with and without setting spray, with and without setting powder... this product just will not “lock” down. It just sat on my face and was so much worse than the MAC. It was so disappointing. I almost feel like KVD means well, and the models on the site are diverse, but her products are just not meant for all skin types. I’ve definitely tried other products, but I wanted to mention those two because they kept popping up on my search for foundation and they are on the higher end of my budget. Finally, I came across this product: Revlon ColorStay for combination/oily skin. I’m not sure what you are looking for, but here is what I love about this product! This goes on so easily, smoothly and lightly, but with medium coverage that I can easily build. It looks so natural! It definitely controls my oily skin. There is a bit of shine after 10 hours, but I don’t look oily. If it bothers me, I just blot a little and it stays matte for even longer. Regardless of whether I use primer, or setting spray/powder, it does the same job! I love it! I got it in the color 310 Warm Golden, which is actually a perfect match. However, in case you didn’t catch on before, I tan very easily, so I just ordered it in Rich Tan. This foundation does not budge and I haven’t had any dramatic transfers like I’ve had with the other two products that cost almost 5x more than this product. I definitely recommend this for everyday use. I have not had any breakouts and I love that it has SPF. It feels natural and I forget I’m wearing makeup. I think this product went on best when applied with a brush with micro bristles (I ordered this flawless foundation brush on Amazon for about $7). One more thing, I have textured skin (pock marks from acne), and at first, I tried to use more product to fill it in, but it didn’t work. However, over time during the day, my skin looked flawless! One thing I did not like, but I’m willing to live with: for some reason it fills my pores a bit on my chin. I don’t know how to fix that other than to touch up or blot, but I have been searching for so long for something that I really like, I’m willing to hang on to this one. This is my go to foundation for oily skin. I’ve tried SO many foundations but this one is it for me. It’s a great way to start my makeup routine, it’s full coverage, not super thick but you can tell you have makeup on by the feel nothing crazy. It’s so smooth on my skin and blend amazing. When looking for a shade especially online I’d go a shade lighter than you’d expect. With this product they always arrive darker than they look online. Overall great product!

Original Double Wear was my holy grail. After the formula change, I wasn't able to find anything that stayed all day and didn't leave me oily before lunchtime....until I found this. Amazing! If you used to use original Double Wear and loved it, try this.

I wanted to love this and I use a lot of Revlon products. It went on smoothly and covered nicely. Color match was good. It just never felt set - it was transferable easily through the day. To be fair I am not a finishing powder person. I did not use setting spray either.

Jeder, der ölige Haut hat, kennt das Problem: die Foundation schwimmt schnell weg, die Poren kommen in vollem Glanz zum Vorschein oder die Farbe dunkelt durch das Öl sehr nach/wird fleckig. All das habe ich mit dieser Foundation nicht mehr! Für mich gehört sie zu meinen absoluten Favoriten. Zum Produkt selber: - Ich habe sehr, sehr helle Haut, teilweise mit Rötungen. Der Farbton ist für mich ein wenig zu dunkel, doch das nehme ich gerne in Kauf, weil mich das Produkt ansonsten völlig überzeugt hat. Außerdem bin ich es bei meinem Hautton gewohnt, dass die Farbe nicht passt und mische sie mir daher etwas an. - Leider besitzt das Produkt keinen Pumpspender, sondern muss so aus der Flasche entnommen werde. Nimmt man ein Makeup Schwämmchen zur Hilfe, ist aber auch das kein Problem. Der Verschluss wird auf lange Sicht gesehen etwas schmutzig. Bleibt man bei der Methode mit dem Makeup Schwämmchen, kommt man damit aber nicht in Kontakt. - Ganz wunderbar ist die Deckkraft, die auch wirklich lange anhält und nicht weiter nachdunkelt. Ich würde sie als mittel+ einschätzen. Trotzdem wirkt es nicht wie eine Maske. - Das Produkt ist sehr ergiebig und hat eine angenehm leichte Formel, die sich sehr gut auftragen lässt. Das Finish ist noch leicht glänzend, sodass ich eine dünne Schicht Puder auftrage, weil ich es matt lieber mag. Das ist aber kein Muss, das Finish schimmert wirklich nur noch leicht. Das Produkt hat zwar ein paar kleine "Fehler", die mich aber nicht weiter stören, da mir die gute Deckkraft, die Formel und die der lange Halt viel wichtiger sind. Wer sich mit Abstrichen im Bezug auf Anwendung (kein Pumpspender) leben kann und ein nicht völlig mattes Finish möchte, sollte sich dieses Produkt meiner Meinung nach kaufen. Für mich war es definitiv nicht die letzte Bestellung.

Meine absolute Lieblingsfoundation, hoffentlich bleibt sie für immer 5 Sterne
