NetDot Gen10 2in1 Nylon Braided Magnetic Charging Cable Fast Charging and Data Transfer for Micro USB and USB C Android Smartphones (3.3ft / 3 Pack, Black)

These allow my Valve Index Knuckles (VR controllers) to charge fairly quickly while connected to my computer's USB 3.0 ports. I got these to reduce the long-term strain on the charging ports of the Knuckles by not having to connect/disconnect USB-C cables whenever they needed charging. This is definitely a worthwhile investment, and you get an extra cable + connectors which works out nicely if one of them gets damaged later on. One benefit I did not realize until I got these is that the magnetic tip end has a blue LED which makes it VERY easy to locate it in the dark to be able to connect it to the magnetic tips. The magnets are very strong too while, at the same time, being easy to deliberately disconnect the cable. Be very careful with these magnets - they're definitely strong enough to seriously harm children or pets if they ingest them and potentially get linked between folds of the intestines. As long as you exercise due caution this is a very safe, very useful product.

An awesome idea and great product. Unbeatable and so easy to use and operate one-handed in a car etc. I wish this was a standard for all phones and computers, like the MacBooks back in the day. Downsides, it does disconnect very easily when you don't want to. The usual way you disconnect this cable is when you break the magnetic "seal" on one of the corners and pull the cable. The issue is if you leave the phone on a non perfectly flat surface, you will have to deal with the issue. Try to put on a car seat or in the middle console in a car or on the corner of a cabinet. I promise you you will break the magnetic seal. Using a phone holder on a car dash is of course a breeze. Quality: they seem super good quality BUT after a month or two of use the do not start charge every time I connect to the phone. I do not know whether this is because the pins wore out or because it's not a genuine product and iPhone won't recognize them. This is my biggest complain, I have to always, always make sure they do charge. If that doesn't happen you have to disconnect and reconnect, sometimes several times or sometimes you just flip the cable 180 degrees and it works. To me that is a big negative. The rest, I can live with. Not sure what to do whether to return or not. Other devices I charge with the cables work every time, like a headset etc. But again how often I charge my headset. Maybe the magnetic pins in the iPhones are getting abused and give in at some point.

09/20/2019 Update: It's been almost a year since I got these and I felt like I had to chime in after seeing all the reviews and photos on this product. I've been using the same adapter head on my phone between 2 phones now and while it's a bit dirty, it's still perfectly in-tact and working perfectly fine. I don't pull it out often nor do I drop my phone. Original Review: I just got these in today and was really excited. My current device uses USB-C but I own a lot of Micro USB devices where the constant plugging and unplugging of cables has had a negative effect on both the cable and ports so I absolutely love this idea. The adapters are fairly magnetic and stay connected to the cable unless tugged on firmly. I have been unable to get "fast charge" to work on my Samsun Galaxy S8+, including flipping the cable and the adapter around but it's not slow charging either. It's a relatively decent charge speed that is only slightly worse than fast charge. Attached are my charge speed comparisons and better images of the connectors as they aren't shown well in the listing if you wanted to compare to previous gens.

I spend a lot of time in my car with my phone hooked up to charger, then getting in and out. These are great, I snatch the phone from holder and lightly pull the cord off and that's it. Getting back in just holding it near and it connects every time. I like that it comes with 3 cords and 3 each of type C, micro and lightning connectors. My phone is type C, many other things are micros and I have a few friends and family with iphones. So I can charge anyone. They are not good to use charging if there is much movement. Some times i hook a small powerbank in my pocket and charge, but the mag one will move around and stop and start charging. But 99% of what I use a cable for it does charge things pretty quick. Doubt I will go back to regular cables ever.

Magnetic tip had broken. For the most part good cord. I contacted the seller. They replaced the tips. both of them. Great customer service response. changing all my cell cords. so that charging port does not get damaged.

The cables are fine, but the tips are weak, brittle, and you will go through all of them very quick. First tip survived a week or two. second a little longer. 3rd lasted months, then suddenly I noticed phone was starting to charge VERY slow. swapped tip, it was fine. for a week. now back to painfully slow charge times. The failure rate of these tips is embarrassing. I've bought 2 full sets because I liked the idea and wanted to have a cable anywhere I might have my phone, plus spares. Will definitely be contacting the manufacturer about getting these tips replaced.

Extremely happy with NetDot. I bought this item due to kids damaging device ports due to forcing and damaging original connector ports. With this product this issue is solved with magnet connector and no need to take notice of which way you are connecting. Great product, fast charge, and compatible with my samsumg S7, S9 and Sansung tablet, IPhone 8,9 and IPad

Decent product. Only complaint is that once the connectors are inserted to the device, it is not easy to remove.

I have tried so many kind of magnetic cable. Only this product works well and last long.

Works really well and saves wear and tear on my iPhone socket. Does fall off sometimes if you are fiddling around, but it's pretty strong. Very happy. Sometimes it will pull the plug insert out of your phone so I always unplug at a slight angle and no problems. I can live with that.
