I was a bit skeptical at first when I purchased this item thinking that accuracy and in such small increments of 0.5g was impossible at such an affordable price. So, with reluctance, I purchased it and was willing to give this scale a try. With a 4.8 star rating with only 2.5 dozen reviews, I was hopeful and yet doubtful that something like this would be "too good to be true". However, I was willing to give it a try knowing that if I wasn't satisfied with its performance, I could return it within 30 days.WOW!!! Was I in for a REAL SHOCK when the dang thing actually performed AS ADVERTISED & AS REVIEWED?!! I use it primarily to weigh my bread dough, and it is especially helpful when measuring out ingredients for my sourdough bread-making. I love the fact it comes with a silicone mat that nicely fits onto the stainless steel platform; it makes clean up of sticky materials a breeze.Speaking of clean up, I simple wipe down with a damp cloth and I'm good to go.I also love how it stays on for 2 minutes as opposed to my old digital scale that would switch off after 30 seconds and was only "accurate" to the nearest 5g. What a pain in the keester that old scale was. Plus, my old one required a 9-volt battery whereas this one uses 3 AAA batteries which THEY provide.I've owned this for almost 2 weeks now, and having used it at least several times a week since then, it is performing flawlessly. So far, so good. I will revise my review if its performance declines over time.In the meantime....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!!!

I am so glad I bought this scale! It is super easy to use. It is very accurate. I love that it measures in 0.5g increments. I also like that the company has a warranty for the batteries for a year! I did a lot of research before buying this scale. I use it to measure meat that I buy in bulk. I also use it because a lot of my recipes require you to measure in grams. This scale makes it super easy to do just that. It arrived very fast. I also loved that they donated money to a charity, you could choose from two (Feeding America) or (American Heart Assoc). I chose for them to donate to the American Heart Assoc because that charity is near and dear to my heart for many reasons! Great product, great company, I definitely recommend and give 5 stars!!

This review shouldn't be about my last kitchen scale, but that was a cheap, frustrating pile of mediocre engineering barely worth the plastic it was housed in. The display would shut off after about 10 seconds of inactivity (with fresh batteries) so I would lose my place when scooping flour into the bowl for bread if I hesitated for any reason. So I got this one to replace it. MUCH nicer. Display is big, bright and clear, stays on for a full 2 minutes before auto-off (ample time to finish what you're doing). Perfect size - big enough to hold a large bowl while seeing the display clearly, but small enough to store away in a small cabinet. And increments in 0.5 g is nice.

I'm still new using this but so far I am loving it. It is so much easier to read than my old one and I can get to the batteries easier when it comes time to change them.

I have several scales and was not totally happy with any of them. They tend to jump around (not constant) and with a 1g scale it is difficult to tell the difference between a little below/above say 4.5g and 5.5g. I was looking for a scale that measured in at least 1/2g increments. This scale had that capability so I ordered it. It has worked well, I like the increased accuracy, but it also stays stable at the reading it is on instead of jumping around a gram to two each direction! It was a little smaller than I expected, but that has actually worked out well, so happy all the way around.

This digital scale is super easy to use and has a nice illuminated digital readout. The only drawback I have with it is it is not as sensitive as the previous scale I owned in that it says it will read at .01 ounces, but does not start reading anything until .04 or above which at times is a problem for me. Other than that it is great.

The scale performs just as advertised. The scale is accurate and repeatable. The scale has a small footprint and takes up little room on my desk. I use the scale to weigh rolled coins to verify the actual count. I take a confirmed roll of coins and tare them out. Any additional rolls I put on the scale should read "0" if the count is correct.
