I purchased this tester about 1 1/2 years ago, it worked well for about a year, but that's when the 4 star rating ended. I have to give it 1 stars for service. I was told that I would have to send it back to China for repair. Isn't there somewhere is the USA that can repair this tester !!! Before you purchase you might want to research where you can get this product repaired if it fails you.****WOW**** I have to revise my review ! The Tech support team at Wsdcam contacted me about the repair of my camera tester and said they would send out a new unit, very impressive customer service ! In my first review I gave the IPC tester four star, as I really like all the features, the one star rating was all about the customer service. As I sit here typing this updated review I realize that my first review wasn't very fair, I certainly would like to see a repair center in the states, but what great service coming directly from China. I must give this product and the support that follows a five star rating. Kudos to you guys in China ! I will purchase more of these tester as my technicians need them. We bought this instrument to be able to reduce time debugging issues with CCTV (TVI) and IP camera systems. Besides configuring cameras this tool is invaluable to troubleshoot cabling problems. The simplified menus and screen layout means we could begin using it right out if the box.We are using also to troubleshoot CAT5e issues caused by poor installation of cable by other installers. A real selling piece to our clients the provides results.

When I purchased this unit in 2017, most of the functions worked. I had difficulty updating the unit but managed to get it to work. The battery failed in the first three months. I contacted the manufacturer by email 9 times and never received a reply. Shortly after that, it failed to display video from cameras. I again reached out to the manufacturer with no results.The only function that has worked consistently is the DVM. The fiber capability is useless as there is no information on how to useIt became a $600.00 paperweight in 2018 as the technical support is non existent.There are alot better testers on the market now that are substantially more reliable.What good are all the bells and whistles if they don't work.

Very good product and very versatile.

Has a lot of features but not great support. My toner probe was doa and i still have not received a replacement after 3mos. I had trouble connecting to some newer dvr systems and support sent me a program that did not even open yet alone fix the issue. Strongly suggest testing all features on arrival!

Ive had it for about a month or two, I use it every day, and man, Im liking this item. Ligth levels of Fiber is nice also. Would be nice if it could do "Fluke" level testing for the same price, i wish someone would go after Fluke. But all in all good value for this tool.

It’s a little confusing to use. One thing they pushed us that it was a TDR tester well it’s not.Android based software I wouldn’t run out and buy it.The description is a little over described and does not do all it says.Three days to respond to you, with a don’t care attitude.

Great piece of equipment. I used it on a few camera installations and it has worked very well for me. It came with a variety of cables which I found very useful ,on the job sites. The retina display really helps in bright sunlight conditions. I would highly recommend this product for setting up the new HD Cameras. It was a little expensive but well worth the investment.
