I love them and may even jump at some point.
Bought them a year ago and I can say with all honesty I truly believe they work great if you take them out of the box. Some say it's the thought that counts. I love having them just incase. If I ever wanma jump a bunch I'm gratefull ive got them. I can jump some rope bro. Just haven't got to it yet.

Fixes Pilot Light Going Out Issue
Fixed my heat n’ glow propane fireplace when my pilot light wouldn’t stay on. Easy to install, although mine was more difficult just because of the angle of mine I had to put it in blind.

Great Replacement. Great Value.
I selected easy to install because it just screws in, but if you haven't replaced one of these before, it can be challenging getting the old one out and this one in through the openings in the fireplace, otherwise it is a direct bolt in replacement. The product worked great, fired right up and the wife is happy the fireplace works again. If I had it to do over again, I would have bought a second one as these all seem to quit periodically and having one on hand, especially at this price point, would be the way to go.

reliable
I run these in an LP fireplace 12-15h/day for a 4 month winter, and intermittently otherwise. Lifespan has been about 1Y, but it has been consistent since I started using them. Never had to buy more than 1/Y.

Cheap Junk
I own a fireplace service, sales and installation company. I have purchased a lot of these for thermocouples are the number one service call for propane direct vent fireplaces and out market is saturated with HHT products. Do not purchase these units. I bought 60 of them and one by one, I have ended up replacing about 2/3rd's of them within a year. Some have lasted close to a year and some have only lasted a couple of months. Cheap knockoffs that are made with inferior metals, I guess. I compared with a true HHT branded one tonight and the HHT brand has a coating over the tip and the copper seems to be thicker. The biggest problem if you are buying a lot of them is that the return window will be closed and they will keep failing and you are just out of your money. Also time is money so if you are returning to change out a thermocouple for free, you are losing even more.

Doesn't last as long as original
Worked with my fireplace. But I would advise you to buy two like i did because it only last for maybe a year. I shut the pilot off during the summer to my fireplace and the first one didn't even make it to a year so if your pilot is lit all year long you it will fail before a year. Just a FYI. Price is good but changing this part on any fireplace is a pain in the A:$ so it would be nice if it lasted a lot longer

My Heatilator gas fireplace's pilot light was not staying lit when I let go of the pilot button no matter how long I kept it depressed while the flame was lit. After testing the thermopile and thermocouple it was clear that I needed a new thermocouple, and this replacement part fit perfectly and does the job as expected.

I bought this $19 part and fixed our fireplace. It works perfectly and I saved probably $300 it would have cost to have a gas technician come and do the job. I just turned off the gas line first as a precaution.
