I received an error code. How do I find out what it means?

Why is there is a clicking noise coming from the charger?

The clicking noise indicates that the circuit breaker is cycling, the connected battery is defective, the battery clamps have shorted, or the battery is severely discharged, but otherwise in good condition. Check the user manual for more information.

Why is the display showing “SUL”?

This indicates that the battery is sulfated. The charger will automatically attempt to repair the battery. If the battery has not resumed normal charging after 10 hours, have it checked.

Why won’t the engine start work?

There are several possible reasons, including that the vehicle is drawing more current than the engine start rate, failure to wait 3 minutes between cranks, the charger is overheated, or the battery is severely discharged. Check the user manual.

The charger is making a loud buzz. Is this normal?

The buzzing sound results when the transformer laminations vibrate. This is normal and there is no cause for concern.
