Well made and hides very concealed.
With this kind of purchase and knowing that on Amazon you can update your review, I always start with 5 stars if everything looks to be as described and well built. At this point only having this holster for one day I can offer first impressions and how it compares to the CrossBreed that I have carried daily for the last 6 years. First would be build quality. This holster seems to be very well made. The fit and finish are outstanding. The first thing that I realized when making the adjustments for fit and proper positioning for carrying was how strongly the belt clips hold to your belt and how firm the holster holds the sidearm. In all my time carrying with the crossbreed I found three design issues with it that weren't extreme but were both anoying and concerning. 1. It squeaked even when oiled and well broke in. Not nearly as much after the first 6 months or so, but like most quality leather. It did and even enough to be heard by the person walking next to you. I finally added two of those carpet backed self-sticking furniture pads made to go under chair legs to protect hardwood floors etc. between the belt hooks and the leather. This cut down most of the sound but it was still there. 2. The rear hook on the Crossbreed often came away (unhooked from belt) leaving the rig dangerously unsecured and only noticeable when you happen to feel your rig working out high enough to risk exposure. I should point out that this only happened when I would crouch down to greet one of my dogs or a small child etc. 3. My Crossbreed put very little retention pressure on my sidearm ( Colt 1911 Commander) often leaving me to wonder what would happen if I ever had to really run while carrying. Let alone if you were to have to hang upside down for some strange reason. So far if the indicators from first impressions are even close to what is to be expected are correct. I do not expect any of these issues with the model Alian Gear offering that I received. Tomorrow 01/10/19 will be the first full day of its use. I will check back in a couple of weeks with an update. Hoping to be able to leave its rating at five stars. Update; Still five stars after daily carry for many months now. The only issue I've had was losing two of the spacers and screws that hold the holster to the backing material. This I would recommend checking now and then. Or once you know the combination that you like maybe using a removable lock-tight on the screws. I really like this holster and I am completely won over with both the design and quality of it at any price. I will add that you most defiantly will not have to worry about the clips hopping over your belt and freeing your rig. LOL, you will see what I mean should you decide to give it a try.

Great IWB Holster!
I've worn many holsters through my career both on and off duty and I have to tell you, this is one of the best holsters I've had the pleasure of wearing. Comfort: I was so impressed on how comfortable it was to carry my 3" 1911 that I bought a second one for my 3" 9mm. The holsters confirms to the body and holds the pistol in place without concerns of mishaps. The trigger is protected and it has three positions you can adjust for depth in your trousers. Retention: The pistol holds secure. If you were involved in hand to hand combat scenario, the pistol would stay in place. We tested it on the mat and was pleasantly surprised on how it protected the pistol and remained in place. My pistol never moved or shifted while wearing this holster. Position: Carrying the holster in the 1-2 o'clock position was not as comfortable as carrying it in the 3-5 o'clock position. I highly recommend a good belt to lock that holster in place and practice your draw to adjust to the proper height setting of the holster. Printing: With other holsters, I was very conscious of the type of shirts to where to minimize printing. With this holster, I found I can wear just about any shirt, pants/short and it does a great job in minimizing printing.

Canik Elite SC Dream
I've had issues finding decent holsters for either of my Caniks (Elite Combat & Elite SC). I finally found an Alien that supported them. I picked up the SC since that's my EDC. I'm 5'8", 160lbs, mid 30 waist and right handed. I initially kept wearing this in the 1-3 o'clock position. It was well enough if I were standing and walking but was an absolute bear if I kneeled or sat down. I adjusted the cant/height and couldn't make it work for all situations. Two weeks in and I finally realize I should keep spinning this puppy around to the 4-5 o'clock and it all clicked. Finally I have an incredibly comfortable holster. The pistol is held tight and secure. You have a few combinations of customization to meet your needs. My only gripe is one of the hex screws holding the shell keeps coming loose. It seems to only hold on by a couple threads so I may search out or make a slightly longer one that I can thread lock. Overall though, a complete 10/10. Comfort for me and my canik throughout the whole day of driving, walking, kneeling, climbing etc...

Itโs decentโฆ
Hereโs my disclaimers: Iโm a bit critical with my holster Iโm not used to carrying 4:30 This is a large frame gun Iโm attempting to conceal. Now that thatโs out of the way hereโs what I like: More comfortable than most Concealment is pretty good when standing still or sitting Very modular and customizable If youโre skinny enough (Iโm not), you can feasibly carry appendix semi comfortably, just make sure youโre wearing a big shirt My gripes: God forbid you bend over, everyone in a 2 mile radius will see youโre carrying even on the low tuck setting. Not ideal. Retention is meh, I personally like that positive โclickโ when youโre fully holstered. You donโt get that with this guy, even after tightening the retention screws. Itโs taxing putting on and taking off. This is probably my biggest issue with this. If you know itโs going to be a pain to put on, youโre less likely to carry, especially if youโre in a rush. On top of that, if you need to remove it (say youโre walking into a bar or a courthouse and want to leave your gun in the car), itโs not a quick and discreet process. I also find that I need to wear my belt tighter than usual to keep it secure, which is annoying. Overall itโs not a bad option by any means. Iโm concealing a large frame g20, itโs not going to be an easy task. I expect a bit more out of my holsters but this will definitely get the job done if youโre limited on options.

Most comfortable holster ever
I bought this holster out of curiosity. I had always used leather, but hated the way that leather "sticks" to you for an iwb holster. Neoprene and kydex seemed like a perfect combination, and being a cloak-tuck made it easy to conceal. It gives me much better retention, and doesn't ever stick to me. It's a dream come true honestly. I adjusted it and put it on the first day, and I was very aware I was wearing it, but by the end of the second day, it had formed perfectly to my body. It's amazing. I have literally worn this holster 24 hours a day at times, and you just don't notice it. It is that comfortable. I highly recommend this. I just wish they would make one I could use with my Olight baldor. I don't like not having a weapon light. The Neoprene/ kydex combo is definitely the best way to go.

Decent holster that was so close to being excellent.
I gave this holster a fair shake. I wore it almost daily for 6 months. I would be happier if it was about half the price I paid. The cost of this holster makes me have a higher expectation of quality control. PROS: there are a ton of spare pieces and parts that can be adjusted and tweaked to fit many different carry preferences, which is great. The materials are of a high quality that I would expect from a holster at this price point. The molding of the holster fits the shape of the Glock 43x nicely. CONS: Maybe I got a defective model, but the alignment of mine is not quite how it shows in the picture. The neoprene padding doesn't quite line up with where the slide sits, and that causes the some discomfort. It seems like if the holes where the molding connects to the padding were a rotated a few degrees clockwise, this would be 10/10 excellent. In the present condition it is usable, but not pleasant for all-day carry. I'll still wear it if I can layer some clothing like an undershirt to help with this issue, but on a hot day I'm carrying something else because this thing isn't cutting it.
