Towel like as described however it started fraying in random areas, the hook loop started to come apart it hadn't been caught on anything! Ended up returning this!

This is a little bigger than expected, but my son likes baggy clothing, so it suits him. The toweling is thick and heavy, and it’s longer than I expected, which is great. Highly recommend if you need a gown.

We bought these towelling dressing gowns for when we get out of our outdoor spa which can be a bit chilly (it's only an inflatable one as we're not that posh). Wrapping ourselves in these is great and we didn't realise they came with hoods so now we don't feel cold at all. Surprisingly, they don't seem to get very wet as anticipated even though they dry us nicely. I recommend these gowns.
