bought this am about 3 months ago and its worth it.. but it was out of stock . so he sent me a xtr2500 amp instead!! woot woot!! (2500.1d) 1050 at 4 ohms-1600 at 2 ohm and 2500 at 1 ohm, all at 12.5 volts! nice man very nice!! i guess i caught him at the right time ot get one. i cant find that model number anywhere on the net but i have one!! its not the old one it is the xtr like the one shown. he said it was a newer model. its not on orions website also. ( its never updated anyhow) i have some xtr pro subs from orion and you only see the regular xtr now. not the pro. but anyhow. its a nice amp. buy it. sound is good and clean . the bass nob is NOT a bass knob, its a remote gain control.even better! adjustable phase for subs not a 0-180 switch bass boost works like it should.. i like that its rated at 12.5 volt and it comes with a birth sheet . mine is under the specs on the box but trust me . when u have 1550 watts at 12 volts as opposed to at 14.4, at 2 ohms. you arent complaining . most amps barely do rated at 14.4 much less being real wattage.. end result is i like it .. id buy it again if i needed too.

I had no problems installing to my custom box. It is powering 3 12" Kicker L7's at 1.39 ohms. I already had 1/0 ofc power wire with 2 battery's in a 2007 suburban. To date this is the loudest system I have ever had. Every person that I had sit in the vehicle could not believe how load it was. So a really great amp. The con is going to be the remote bass knob. This knob is very cheap. Mine was completely destroyed with the knob coming out of the housing. The bass knob was replaced by seller through amazon and received it very promptly. The knob I received was this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J2QXBB2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have verified that it will work with the original wire or the wire that comes with the aftermarket knob. I am getting some feed back from the amp to the subwoofers while the volume is completely turned down. It seems to only be noticeable when driving so will need to narrow it down. The amp before this was a 1500 watt Kicker and had zero bass noise when volume off. If your going to use a bass knob buy one while your ordering this amp. would definetaly purchase this amp again.

I love a good deal. My Rockford Fosgate 1500 BD stopped working. I decided to buy a new amp vs repairing. I came across a Dyno test Video for this amp done by YOUTUBE USER "BigDWiz". I was sold... The amp arrived and I installed using the same 4 gauge(Stinger OFC) as I used with my Rockford Fosgate 1500BD..... BIG MISTAKE, the 4 gauge wire was not receiving or dispersing the power efficiently. Amp would get HOT enough to Fry Bacon and Eggs on...needless to say, I ordered a pair of dual 1/0 gauge input block terminals to install on amp for power and ground. Once THIS BABY had all the juice it needed.....Pounds relentlessly for Hours and no longer gets warm at all. This ORION XTR2500.1Dz is everything I needed!! I have four 12" MTX fpr shallow mount subs in a custom down-fire box wired down to 2ohms in a 2015 F150 SuperCrew. This amp is giving them about 2200 rms @ 2ohms. I have the amp gain set to 1/4. PLENTY OF QUALITY POWER!! aWESOME DEAL HERE!! I purchased this amp to power my Orion HCCA 152. It does a great job at pushing the sub. I use a sealed enclosure so the fact that this amp does not have an adjustable sonic level is ok for my. It does have a switch that will raise the subsonic level to 25hz. The bass remote is extremely cheap. It is made of plastic and uses a 3.5mm cable that pulls out easily. My cable does not make a very good connection and sometimes you have to wiggle it in order for it to work properly. This amp will also heat up rather quickly. I have my amp in an open area behind my truck seat. To be fair tho, the one time it did kick from overheating, I was running the heat at the floor level and it could have help cause the amp to overheat. It shipped fine, but it came without one of the allan wrenches and I did not receive a manufacturer sticker. Amazon refunded 10% of my purchase to make it right so this is not a complaint, just a notice. If you do not want to spend big money for an amp, then this is the amp for you. It came with a birthsheet and the rms at 12.6v was 2946 watts. Check out BigDWhiz youtube channel for a dyno test of this amp.

I have bought several xtr amps .It makes the power for sure. Small footprint at this power level. 9 x 14 x 2.5. Fits easily in a car. Few issues - the led power light will stop working in 2 weeks. This model in particular squeals (inside the amp itself, not thru the speakers) at initial turn on for about a minute if the ambient temperature is below 40degrees. If you live in Florida it will never happen. Hopefully thats all it is and wont evolve into a bigger problem. Its been almost a month with no further issues. Fingers crossed. Monster clean power tho. Update* two years later still working well. I live in Florida now and it doesn't squeal anymore lol.

Quality matters the most

Haven't hooked it up yet but... it's clearly awesome lol. I'll update after I hear it on my hcca 152. I'll give it 5 stars on shipping time, condition of box/item ect. So far, so good. Update: 5/21/2018 - AMP IS STILL A BEAST! Definitely does every bit of rated power and then some by ALOT. I have it wired to 1ohm on a HCCA 152 in box tuned to 32hz 4cf. 250amp alt, xs power D5100 in back and 80ah agm under the hood. All 1/0 wire. Beating hard af. I have some videos on my YouTube channel for any who care to see how it performs. YouTube channel is "BaSsAhoLic" mostly car audio stuff. Single cab f250(work truck beater) with a ridiculous amount of time and money put into the sound system lol. It's just how I roll.

Alright this is a monster, I'm not even joking.. I received mine at 2969rms @1ohm (what!? that's 469rms more than expected!). Luckily, I expected this a little and was prepared. I run it with a second battery in the trunk dedicated to it. Get yourself a 200A fuse (because it has none), run the power through a 2/0 cable from the battery, shortest as possible, and it will blast your whole body. Also I recommend setting the sensitivity by hand and not using the remote gain, it's not precise and you wouldn't want to make the amp overheat in the end, bass boost at lowest too. I really couldn't wait to do this review because this amp is awesome. I'll edit this in a couple of months ;)! EDIT (2018/02/22): So it's been a few months and a very harsh winter (reaching down to -40 degrees and less) and this thing still wakes up the next morning without a problem. It still deafens everyone around as I make my way through the traffic, sometimes I feel bad for the people stuck next to me at a red light, I guess they won't hear their pop trash for a couple minutes, sorry not sorry. Wired with great subs, this thing is loud and strong. When normal people ask for a demo, usually they think it's already too loud and I'm around half power, like I'm just getting started.. I'll be honest with you, this is the definition of too much if you've never had a sub before.
