Worked well on a small job. Easy to lose the key.
So far I've only used it for two pilot holes for wood screws. Took a little getting used too but it drilled nicely. I'm down to two bits left in my yankee push drill and I wanted something low tech to use as an option. I don't think regular bits work in my Yankee 46 and replacement bits are too expensive. For now I'm storing the chuck key clamped down in the chuck until I can think of a better way.

Handy
This is a real handy little unit for me. I enjoy wood carving as a hobby and I don't have to dig out my power drill when all I need is a hole in one of my projects. I like it!

Great product!
I have purchased many of these for student use and they work great!I chose this pin vise over other models because the chuck size is bigger and will take 1/4" bits. I purchased some screw driver bits to add to the tool and everything stores nicely in the handle. The chuck key is a great feature, I currently have an injury that affects my grip strength and I was able to get bits in tightly. The only con I see is the handle which is made of plastic and seams a little cheap. That said, I purchased the first one a couple months ago and it has held up fine. Overall this is a great product and I think it is well worth the price!

Heavy Duty Pin Vise, More like a Hand Drill
It accepts many larger bits that most pin vises do not. It gets a bit tiresome to hold when cleaning out many holes such as I use it for. However, I'm not complaining, it does a nice job and has good 'feel' for the delicate work I do with standard size bits - e.g. 1/4". Not inexpensive, I'd like more grip to the handle and maybe the handle could be made of better plastic - but overall I recommend if you have a need for such a tool and plan to use it often.

Handle loose
After a couple of uses the handle became loose in the shaft.

Good for 40k
I use this to drill tiny holes in tiny soldiers to install tiny magnets. I've done many units now, and gone way overboard (some are basically action figures at this point). I've had zero issues with the chuck slipping or any other lack of reliability.Warning: Pay attention to what you're doing. A tiny drill bit with enough force to do it's job behind it is more than enough to go deep into your thigh or whatnot. Do not confuse the lack of a power tool for inherent safety. Tools increase your efficiency at doing work, even if that work is dumb and self-destructive.

Not bad
It's not a bad hand drill, but isn't quite what I'm looking for.The chuck key isn't the best fit but it works. It could maybe fit a 6.5mm bit but not a 7. At least not the 7 I have and I do not have a 6.5mm to verify.
