Escalier Womens Wool Coat Double Breasted Winter Long Trench Coat with Belt

The media could not be loaded.  This trench coat is so well made. The buttons are well sown and secured. The material blocks the wind from blowing through. The color is a light tan almost beige. I stand 5”3 and the coat covers part of my leg which is a plus. The belt is versatile.Ps. There is a secret pocket on the inside!

I ordered this coat fearing that it might be short on me but it's the perfect length in all measurements! I’m wearing a medium here it fits so well and can easily be worn with sweaters without feeling stuffy. The color is just gorgeous. I’m super happy with the quality and the fitting of the coat. I have gotten so many compliments. The long length helps keep warm when you just wear tights/leggings. I am 5’5” and 123lbs 34B for reference.

I love this coat!It hits all the right style notes. It’s the perfect full-length coat that’s lovely enough to wear to any nice event, where something more dressy is preferred, but still classic enough to wear in a more casual setting. This coat is beautifully structured in its design, with a split lapel collar that gives the option to button up all the way to just under the chin, if preferred, or leave in a “v” with the perfect face-framing collar. The seams and stitching are extremely well done. (No hint at all of missed stitching or poor construction.) It’s a wool/polyester blend, making it a cozy and warm coat. The lining is superior. This is very much a quality piece. The detail of the 4 buttons on the sleeve, lends itself to a slimming and elongating, nicely finished sleeved. The double-breasted style of this fashion-staple is classic, as well as very flattering for every body size and type. I love that the belt has a slide buckle, as opposed to a tie belt. Tie belts with a coat like this do not look as slimming or polished, in my opinion. I feel like I could go to “see the queen,” or to a state dinner in this coat, just as easily as I could wear this with jeans and leather boots to a Friday night football game.Did I say, “I love this coat,” already? 💕This is easily my favorite coat purchase in the last several years.

I had spent hours looking for a long trench coat with a wool blend. I wanted something that was heavy enough for winter, but also stylish since I would mostly wear it to church. I picked this one because it looked long enough (hits about one inch below knee, I am 5'6''), had cute buttons and a belt, and it was a wool blend. You never know what you are going to get online (had already returned a different coat that didn't work out), so I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. It is a fairly heavy coat that has a nice lining on the inside and the outside is that soft wool. This definitely feels and looks like a much more expensive coat. I always wear size small and the small fit just fine.

I like this coat a lot! It runs small, I usually wear a 6 or 8 and intuitively went with 12 with fits nicely. It says to dryclean only, which I successfully ignored. Washed it on warm and gentle and turned out well. Not crazy about the tag on the one chest side saying “army”, I will probably put something else over it. Quality is good as far as I can tell after one day in the cold outside. Really warm! But zipper had trouble closing. I needed to turn it just right so I could close it. It is a very fashionable and cute coat!

It was a very nice coat; however, I had to return it because it was too small. It stated a size 16-18. I wear a solid women’s 12, and it was too tight. I order larger with the hope it would fit loosely and with a nice flow. It didn’t fit!!!

Perfect winter wool coat! The color is darker than photos. It is a burgundy wine color. It is more beautiful in person than in the picture. It is very warm as it is 50% wool. I am 5’3” and 115 lbs and the size small is perfect and also allows me to wear my thicker sweaters underneath. Don’t hesitate to buy this coat. It is beautiful and will keep you warm. It is fully lined and has an inside breast pocket. The belt is pretty nice too but it looks great even without the belt. Buy this coat. It is amazing!!!

Great coat at a reasonable price. I purchased this for my wife who took a shine to a coat I was buying. The coat arrived in less than 2 days and was a good fit and nice style.

Fits ok just a bit tight and a bit shorter than it looked in picture but ok overall
