Good, Strong Product
I have 2 Beatit jump starters now and I'm happy with both of them. I got the lower amperage one quite a while ago. It has worked numerous times for my Honda CR-V, as well as other vehicles with the smaller engines.I didn't rate this 600 Amp model yet simply because I hadn't used it. I ordered this one for an emergency with my wife's Chrysler Town & Country, which has a larger V-6 engine. Thankfully, we still haven't had to use it there, but it worked great on a friend's Chevy Tahoe with a large V-8. That battery was down quite a bit and the B9-Pro had no problem cranking the engine. The only drawback was the reset button on the supplied battery cable set. As the V-8 wasn't fuel injected, it didn't fire up instantly and had to be cranked a second time. the reset button had tripped and had to be pushed for the second try. This isn't a big issue, but could be annoying in the middle of the night.I would recommend these products to anyone. The peace of mind is worth any price, but these are very reasonably priced, work well and are east to store in the car.Another plus is that they come in handy when you don't have access to a 110v wall outlet to charge your phone. The Beatit jump starters will supply enough power to easily charge a couple. Just make sure you have the correct USB charging cord for your phone.

Remove the need to ask people for assistance or being stupidly stranded in the middle of nowhere.
My AAA car battery was dying fast on me. I knew that I was still under warranty so I could call them and get it replaced for free but I still needed to use my car and I had no time to wait for the truck to arrive so I asked a few people for help when stranded. A few really nicely helped, some did not...Eventually, I was very glad to purchase the Beatit Yellow B9-PRO 600A 14000mAh Portable Jump Starter until I would get the free time to call AAA to come and replace it. I used it for a couple of days until that time.My car has a 3.8L V6 engine and this kit worked very well. It is small enough that you can keep it in your glove compartment (providing that it is not full like mine is) or simply in your car trunk. One full charge can restart your car more than 10 times. I am very impressed by it.You can also use it as a light or to recharge your phones. As a light it is not very powerful though. The kit can be recharged either via the standard power plug or in your 12v cigarette lighter adapter.I decided to not go for the more expensive models because this is something you need to use only once every blue moon.Apparently, it is a good idea to recharge it once in a while if you are not using it because it empties itself slowly.

It would not start my car.
This thing looks nice and charged well. Easy enough to connect. Sadly it would not start my car. I tried a couple of time over a 45 minute period. The last time I let it remain connected for a good 30 minutes prior to attempting to start it for the 3rd and final attempt.Thankfully another parent was watching and had jumper cables. Started up first try.

Worked great at first
Worked great the first few months I had it. Needed it again about 5 months later for a jump. Fully charged it and nothing. It won't hold a charge anymore. Cant even use it as a battery pack for other electronics.

Works better then they claim!
I have actually had one of these for 2-3 years now, and just bought one of the same brand for a Brother-in-Law. The one I just bought didn't charge, but Beatit send a new one after a quick email conversation (always had a response within a day, usually within an hour). So their customer service is great! Onto the product:For the last 2-3 years I have used my Beatit a lot more then I even expected. Here's what I learned about it:ProsHolds a charge really well, when it isn't allowed to freeze or get extremely hot (talking 100+ degrees) very often.I have jumped a gas engine up to 6.0 liters (Chevy Suburban) many times, up to 5 times on one charge when I was trying to diagnose a battery drain issue. I also jump started a Cummins once for someone on the side of the road. This thing always jumped them like they had a new battery. Very impressive.Charges phones really well, and I like that I have two USB charging ports so I can make good use of the very large capacity by charging two devices at once.Comes in a strong and well made carry case, which has room to put USB charging cables along with the Beatit and its accessories.Beatit feels very solid, with a hard rubber around the case so it is easy to hold.ConsFlashlight is a nice touch, but don't expect to use it for much because it isn't very bright. Why did they bother putting that compass on there? It is garbage and useless...Jumper cables are VERY short, like barely long enough to reach each end of a big battery. This makes this useless for a Mercedes Sprinter, which used to be my work vehicle, because they have the battery cables under the seat with a jumper running to under the hood, but no where close to any metal that I can connect the negative jumper cable to.Overall, most vehicles will be able to be jumped by this. I couldn't believe it jumped that Cummins like it had a new built in battery in it! Very solid, has worked 2-3 years through fairly heavy use for a portable charger and jumpstarter. I would not recommend letting it freeze or get hot very often, it is a battery after all.

looks good and came 75% already charged
I got this because I want one for my 4 wheeler when im out on the trails. I hope it works as well as my DBPOWER 600A jumper I purchased. It appears to be of very similar quality and build. I do wish it had a digital readout like some of the other models have and also my DBPOWER one has. But not having the digital reading is not a deal breaker. Don't let the price fool you. Will update once I use it.
