We use anti-tarnish protection in all of our jewelry to decelerate the tarnishing process. We also add a thin, black anti-tarnish strip that’s in your packaging. Keep this strip together with your necklace and store it either in a jewelry box, a sealed plastic bag or a cloth storage bag. This is a delicate chain, so when you see the first signs of tarnishing rub it gently with a silver polishing cloth. Avoid exposing your silver to household chemicals when cleaning with bleach or ammonia, or when swimming in chlorinated or salt water, as these chemicals can damage silver. Tarnish is most easily removed when it first becomes visible. Although wearing your silver jewelry often is the best way to prevent tarnish from building up, regular cleanings prevent tarnish and keep your silver bright and sparkling.

The ring does not go into the clasp.

For me, I found the ring does go into the clasp but it is a snug fit. I couldn't get it at first but now I can no problem.
