My kid is 6 years old and average size and slightly tall. I bought size 9-10 years old, and the dress fits perfectly. Beautiful dress with pretty fabric. Side zipper, snap, and frog closures on the top right hand side.

I bought this for my daughter. I was expecting something flimsy. I thought she would only wear it a few times as a costume. The fabric was pretty thick. The craftmanship is not superb, but decent. One of the buttons fell off quickly but it was easy to repair. Overall the dress was sturdy enough for my daughter to wear to school and outside sometimes. Worth the money. I would recommend it to others.

This dress is cute and quality is as expected, however it runs VERY small. I got a size 8 for a 7 year old and it fits like a 4. There is a chart in descriptions that shows best size to order (I didn't see this when I ordered) so be sure to check before placing order.

Our daughter is slim build, these dresses are not flattering at all, they can give off a boxy feeling. Growing up I was broad shouldered so they never fit me well, for her this one was a bit baggy, she didn't like it, but she was wearing it for event and knew it was not something custom to fit her body style, she paired with a high bun, tights, and dress cardigan, and booties on her feet, she was a vendor in a festival and this was helping her dress the part. She chose it for the color. I agreed for the shipping and how short notice we needed. Neither of us loved it.

I imagined this would run small, so I bought the next size up and even that was too small.

My 11 yr old daughter needed a chinese dress for a school event. This was great!! I think we ordered the largest size possible (14 or 16) (since reviews said it ran small) and we're so glad we did. It fit her perfectly, she loved it and received many compliments! One of the buttons on the top came off but we just safety pinned it back on and no one could tell. The dress was beautiful and comfortable. I think she wore it 3 times in 1 week because she loved it so much (to school, to church on sunday and to a church activity). :)
