This Alba Racing Propeg Nerf Bar is compatible with the Honda TRX400EX and 400X all years and models. This kit comes with left and right nerfs and everything you need for installation. They are manufactured with tough 1-3/8" aluminum tubing which is buffed after the manufacturing process and then anodized for longer lasting finish. Mounting brackets are chrome plated steel. However ALBA Racing could sure upgrade the quality of bolts provided. The bolt are crap and could easily be snapped while tightening them down. For whatever reason they provide more bolts then you actually use on my install. On my quad I only use 4 of the 8 bolts provided. However the 4 bolts that I needed to install where really poor quality and two were to short to thread through the lock nuts provided properly. I'll be replacing all 4 of these bolt for piece of mind. These are very light weight aluminum nurf bars. The nets are as good as can be expected and secure really well. Personally I like the foot pegs. They are really large compared to stock and provide side support too. I'm a little concerned with the heal guard collecting mud but I'll find that out this weekend. My boot will more than likely keep the from happening. The nurf bars are not completely rigid due to how they slide over the foot peg mounting tube. It's not a super tight fit so if you grab the nurf bars you can wiggle them. They won't fall off but I'd prefer a rigid mounted setup.The aluminum is very thin wall but I'm pretty sure it will serve it's purpose. Very simple to install assuming you don't have issues getting your stock foot pegs removed. I headed my bolts up with a propane torch and I was able to get them to loosen up without breaking any tools or bolts. Be prepared to do the same. My bolts were packed with dirt and crap from the trails over the years. You might have the same issue. I know I'm pointing out quite a few bad points but I'm just trying to help you guys have a better understanding of what you're buying. These are entry level nurf bars and will serve most of us well. However if you race or think you will really bang yours up you might want to look into a higher quality nurf bar that is built out of thicker tube and has a more rigid mounting system.
