Yes I think it does never tried but seems plenty of room

Will this chill wine without it going in the fridge? Or do you need to put this chiller or wine in the fridge first?

You need to put a cold bottle into it and it maintains the temperature so you don’t have to keep going back and forth to the fridge. It won’t make a room temperature wine chilled.

Does this product fit a standard Prosecco bottle (I.e. the wider base)?

With Cremant also with a wider base the cooler works perfectly. Don't have a Prosecco handy.

Do you have to put this in the freezer first?

I put it in fridge you can put it in freezer but it keeps wine cool even in the hot summer. Very good product

Classy!

Really great cooler. A bit more classy than the conventional straight sided ones, so it looks really nice on the table. Easily holds wider champagne bottles too. And seems to do the trick in keeping the wine cold.

Everything you want from a wine cooler. Had loads of use in the 2 years I've had it. Never thought the wine was too warm. In the sun we add some ice to the cooler and it works a treat. Buy one.
