Read before buying !
Fellow detectorists were rather dubious of the authenticity of this product due to the price. I have done extensive email enquiries with Garretts in the USA and the UK main dealer. It has been confirmed by both that the serial numbers are correct and this is a genuine Garrett product. Here is the downside- the item was purchased by Amazon in 2021, it has been confirmed that the manufacturers warranty has expired. There is only one Garrett dealership in the UK so you have to weigh up the price paid to a potentially costly repair should anything go wrong. There is no mention by Amazon of expired warranty in the link for this product and it’s impossible to get in touch with Amazon to discuss. ( The AI links do not cover this scenario ) You have some rights in the UK under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 should you choose to keep the item. You also have the 30 day return/refund on Amazon. PAY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD for extra protection. All in all for the price paid, you have to decide is it worth a punt.

Good quality detector
Easy set up and configure for use.Traditional swan neck stem and control box and lightweight when operating.Not keen on the tone signal and although purchased at a good offer price i returned item for a refund which was sorted eventually after contacting Amazon a couple of times. Have now purchased a Minelad Nox600 which I feel is a better machine for me.
