Real Construction Refills- Bundle Pack (6 In 1) Larger Pieces

Great idea, but not that easy to cut out using the tools from the starter kit. I basically had to use kitchen sheers to cut through the foam. After that the nails don't really hold all that well, they work much better with glue.Still a decent way for your kid to use their creativity to build something, and since it's foam and soft it won't hurt too much when they hit you with the sword they built.

The entire Line of Real Construction products including the tool kit, are exactly what the manaufature discribes and other reviews indicated. I didn't expect that the product would be all that it was advertised as. I baught the Construction Tool Kit and Refill Packs for my Grandson as a Christmas gift. Because he lives out of state from me, I did not get to see the product and tool kits first hand except on Skype on Christmas morning. My Grandson loves it and built an Airplane as his first project. My daughter said it is very "Cool" . I am the the Favorite Grandpa.

The kids like this fake wood and have made several projects out of the original + the refil. It is quite expensive for some cheap "wood colored" plastic but I didn't see any alternatives and was too lazy to go to tap plastics or some other specialized outlet.

My son was really looking forward to working with this construction set. However, there are no instructions showing how to make any of the items shown on the sheet. There are many pictures of trucks, airplanes, motorcycles, etc that can be made but no instructions. The pictures really are not large enough to dissect and figure out what was used. He is very disappointed and so am I. He hasn't touch it since opening.

Purchased several of these Bundle Pack Refills to go with our other Real Construction packs/tools. My kids (ages 2,4,6,8) love building in Daddy's workshop. These planks encourage creativity and breed a familiarization with fitting pieces and design. They have also helped foster in my kids a love of working with their hands and seeing a project through from visualization to execution and completion. For the price, we treat these boards like the real thing--measure twice, cut once. My kids love them. Great Purchase!

I'm not happy that I was able to purchase the original kit and when reordering the refills, I learned that the entire product line was discontinued. Also you couldn't even purchase the nails, etc. anyway and once you used them in the original kit, you were stuck. Not to mention that the instructions were poorly written. Actually it would have been a really great idea but the company dropped the ball.

I have bought other products including the basic kit from this product line. My son 6 when we started using this product 7 now has a lot of fun with this. You can use this indoors or out. Very little mess from the "wood". Very durable and fun finished projects.

It drives me nuts because my kids saw this into a bajillion pieces but they love it and it keeps them occupied for a while. I told them I am no longer buying refills because of the mess they make but grandparents are free to do so for birthdays. I'm sure older kids wouldn't make such a mess as they could actually build things, but mine are too young to do so without help. They do have fun "building" and using their imagination though, which I do like.
