I’ve worn plastic pants off and on over the last 70 years, originally as a fetish, but now out of necessity. As much as I loved wearing them, most were made out of vinyl or a plastic material that didn’t breathe and I’d soon be sweating under them even if I wasn’t being very active. But these plastic (polyurethane) pants from Kleinert are different. With an outer layer of nylon and an inner layer of PUL (polyurethane laminate), they are waterproof but still allow water vapor to escape. So I don’t sweat in these (unless I’m very active), and that means I can wear them 24/7 without discomfort. With age came incontinence, so what was once a fetish for me has now also become a necessity. I tried many plastic pants over the years and none were satisfactory for long-term wear until I found these. They are well-proportioned, sized appropriately (I wear 4X-Large), and comfortable to wear all the time. I wear them with pull-on diapers that are leak-free most of the time—key word being “most”—but with these plastic pants I don’t have to worry about leaks anymore. These catch what my pull-on diaper doesn’t. They are a little noisier than the description leads you to believe, especially when they’re brand new. But after a couple of washes, whatever noise is left is easily masked by any clothing you wear over them. Personally, I like the crinkle—it’s part of the fetish of wearing plastic pants. But even if you don’t, it’s nothing to worry about—no one will be the wiser. These are highly recommended—whether as fetish-wear or out of necessity. Five stars.

The Duracool is a very great product. The nylon fabric is very breathable and works wonderfully. It was a great fit and I will be ordering more. Great product and great price.

Pants seem to be well made from good materials. Many of the reviews mentioned the sizing issue but I ordered my husband's current size anyway. WRONG! The sizing and corresponding numbers do not match. My husband is an XL in all he wears. The measurement numbers on their chart correspond to that size, but the actual pant is nowhere near that size. Landed up needing a 3XL. Took 3 separate orders to arrive at that solution. Therefore 4 stars.

I ordered 2 pair of the beige hoping that the elastic in the legs would be a little, but it is actually tighter than the white ones I already have. Plus it seems to be narrower elastic so it becomes very small in some places causing it to pinch and become painful. I really don't think they are as good as the white ones.

I recently received the washable incontinent leak-protection pant. According to the measurements that were recommended, I could use either an extra small or small, which was what I normally wear. Thankfully, I ordered a size small. When I tried it on, the leg bands were very tight. Wearing it over my regular underwear and a pad during a walk, I was sweaty and had indentations around my legs. Not much noise came from the pant. The main reason I purchased the pant was to help prevent incontinence leakage. It was successful. I like the fact that it is waterproof, despite being uncomfortable. I will buy another one in medium size. Most underwear come in bikini, hipster, high-cut or brief styles. It would be nice to have these other options, too. So, all in all, I will continue to use the waterproof leak-protection underwear. It will protect clothing and bedding. In the long run, it will save money on excess laundry and disposable incontinence items.

Bought for my disabled brother & better than most I've bought recently. They go on easily & provide that extra layer of protection needed. No accidents, do as stated, very dependable over adult diapers & no odor. Very reliable. I'll be purchasing more.

Purchased for my elderly Dad with Parkinson's Disease. Needed extra coverage for over the adult diapers, as he cannot get up on his own and can sleep for up to 10 hours at night. He also likes to sleep on his side. He has unusual measurements, 38" waist, 41" hips and 21" thighs. The Medium on this product works great. They stipulate to make sure the thigh (leg) measurement is the most accurate or you may experience leaks. So, that's how I ended up purchasing the Medium. It has a nice tight fit around his legs, without cutting off his circulation. It also fits tightly around his waist. The material is also very nice and comfortable. I am so very pleased with this product. We've used it several times with no leaks, it did have one small leak on one night, but Dad did stay in bed for 12 hours when it did. I always have a protective bed pad under him anyway, so I don't have to wash all the bedding only the water proof bed pad. I highly recommend this product for anyone using overnight diapers and need that extra layer of protection. Without this cover up I would be washing the bed pad every day. I was so pleased with it I purchased another one.

Unfortunately, these were way to big. My dad wears a medium and I ordered a medium. I should have heeded other's feedback saying these were too. We needed at least two or three sizes smaller and there is only one size smaller, so we've returned. Thus if you are a large, I recommend ordering a small and then on up. We are returning and have to look at another product which will be truer to size.

I’ve tried a variety of plastic pants over the years, mostly PVC styles, and these are easily my favourite. I’ve ordered them many times and have tried all the colours. For the sake of transparency, I don’t wear these for a medical condition or over diapers/padding; I just enjoy wearing plastic pants. Still, I have a lot of experience wearing them and feel qualified to comment on their construction, comfort, practicality, and overall performance. The biggest difference with these pants is the material. Unlike traditional PVC or PU pants, these use a nylon outer fabric with a plastic inner coating. They feel dramatically lighter and cooler than standard vinyl pants, while still providing reliable protection. They’re comfortable enough for extended daytime or overnight wear. Despite the light, airy feel, they still perform as you’d hope. In my experience, they effectively contain moisture whether sitting, lounging, or moving around throughout the day. The only potential issue I’ve encountered with these relates to the leg bands. Unlike many plastic pants that just wrap around the elastics, these pants have thick, comfortable leg bands. However, they can absorb and transfer moisture if too much liquid runs down there. But this is a common issue I have with all the plastic pants I've tried; if they get too wet, they leak (unless the elastics are uncomfortably tight). If you wear absorbent padding under, this is probably a non-issue. These are easy to rinse out and clean either on the go or at the end of the day, and they tolerate machine washing surprisingly well provided you're careful. Don't put them in with anything that could damage them, and avoid excessive heat. I strongly recommend low heat or air drying to preserve the waterproof coating. Sizing is conservative but accurate. The size chart is trustworthy if you measure honestly, especially around the thighs. If you’re between sizes, or if you plan to wear these over thick diapers or heavier padding, sizing up is probably a safe choice. The leg elastics are snug enough that going up a size shouldn’t compromise containment. I appreciate that the waistband is cut lower than many traditional plastic pants. That makes them much easier to conceal under normal clothing during daytime wear. For someone needing extra coverage, a higher-waisted design might be preferable. The color selection is great. I've tried them all and love each one. If it matters, the lighter colors (white, beige, and pink) are slightly translucent, even more so when the material is wet. The darker colors (blue, gray, and black) are completely opaque. Also, despite the product description suggesting they’re “quiet,” some colors produce a noticeable rustling sound, especially when new. In practice, though, I rarely notice it in ordinary environments, and after a couple washes the material softens considerably and becomes much quieter. Overall, I think these are an excellent option both for people who genuinely need waterproof protective pants and for anyone else interested in a more comfortable alternative to traditional PVC styles. They strike a rare balance between comfort, practicality, and effective protection.
