Great addition to our yard
Super happy that we bought this table. Looks good, is lightweight but sturdy and very versatile since the benches are not connected to the table. We had no significant issues with installation.. We are glad we purchased this picnic table.

Not A Simple Assembly
I've assembled many items from Ikea, Lowe's, and Home Decorators Collection, in addition to building my own shelving and tables. With that, I still found the assembly of this product a bit challenging. The problem is that the pieces are not labeled the way HDC does, so I had to examine the pre-drilled pilot holes carefully to identify the correct placement of the rails with the brackets. The cross brace assembly requires you to drill your own pilot holes. You also need to glue pieces on and file all the sharp plastic edges. You'll need a ratchet driver, adjustable wrench, drill with assorted bit sizes, and the aforementioned file. They supply the glue.I was further frustrated with the different bolts lengths, as somehow I ended up with three bolts that were too short- no matter where they went- and three washers missing. So I had to make a trip to the hardware store and buy the three proper size bolts and washers. For an engineered product, the pilot holes did not line up exactly with the positioning of the brackets. Some of the rails were warped, so the spacing between is uneven. Also, I do not like the end cap pieces- I think it would be nicer if each board had its own end cap. Bottom line is, the assemble product looks good, but it could have been engineered better for assembly. The Pros: The table and benches are very sturdy; the separate benches and table are easy to move around; the maintenance-free pvc will never need painting and is easily cleaned. The Cons: The time and effort to assemble; the plastic surfaces could get scratched up; all the edges need to be filed smooth; my missing/wrong size hardware.

Flimsy
I was so excited to find these tables, even at the close to 500.00 price tag. It took all day to put them together and holes didn’t line up just like the other reviews. The tables and benches all wobble and are going to need some kind of braces and additional support. So disappointing, but they do look good if you don’t sit on them.

Quality lacking, but not a deal breaker
Quality: Many reviewers here reported that the holes did not line up and new holes had to be drilled. Some may have concluded this because there are 4 different types of planks (3 for the 5 table planks, 1 for 4 bench planks) each having a different hole pattern. The pieces, amazingly, are unmarked, and further complicating matters are the instructions which incorrectly state that all five of the table planks are in box #2 which in fact contained only four planks! It takes careful observation to determine the correct location and orientation of each plank, but once that was done, I had no problem screwing all the pieces together using the pre-drilled holes. Having said that, after assembly the location of the end of each plank was not uniform (see photo) and several of the end caps revealed a unsightly 1/4" gap, requiring the longest planks to be trimmed. The manufacturer certainly could have done a better job drilling the holes to avoid the need to trim the planks after assembly. Trimming the vinyl planks is quite easy however, and does not need to be done neatly as the ends are concealed by the glued-on end caps.Missing parts: My kit was missing 3 washers.Assembly: Took about 5 hours and was not difficult.Umbrella hole: There is no hole for an umbrella pole. A hole can be easily drilled, but it cannot be centered either on the short axis (due to a center support joist located on the center line) or the long axis (due to the two diagonal support members). The maximum hole size is about 1.75" (if perfectly centered in the width of a plank) because a larger hole would cut one of the two internal walls of the plank (each plank is divided into three compartments), significantly weakening it. The hole also cannot be made in the center plank as it (and the two outer planks) each contain a 1.5" x 1.5" wood support in each of the outer two compartments (see photo). I just ordered a 6' x 10' umbrella which has a 1.5" diameter pole, so the hole width limitation should not be a problem, and I can live with the hole being 5 inches off center. Results: The table and benches feel reasonably sturdy. The white color is somewhat blinding in sunlight. I would have preferred a more muted color, like a dark green-grey. Anything other than pure white! The texture is glossy which I expect will readily show scratches. A pebbled texture would have been preferred. Overall the final product meets my expectations, although the quality of manufacturing, the parts kitting, and the instructions could all use improvement.

Fantastic product with strength and safety modifications.
It's a Fantastic product with modifications. For the price they should incorporate all the following improvements.1. The table goes together well but I added wood support beams to the outer cavities of the legs (8 places) to provide support for the bolts when tightened. I drilled holes through the added wood beams using the existing bolt holes in the plastic parts. I did the same thing to the legs of the benches.2.The legs of the benches were positioned 10 inches from the end of the bench per the provided instructions. When sitting on the end of the bench it would seesaw creating a hazard. I moved the support brackets so that the outer leg was 4 inches from the end of the bench. In addition, I added 2 more support beams to the open cavities in the bench seat to prevent sagging of the bench. The angle braces were then secured off the middle support and screwed through the plastic and into the inner wooden beams of both bench seat rails.3. All bracket screw holes were repositioned to allow the screws to go through the plastic and into the wooden support beam for added strength. The added support beams were made from 2" X 2" pine cut along one edge to match the supplied support beam thickness.
