Mild - not hot at all, just really good flavor!

Is this mexican rice mix complete? It seems like something is missing.

Yes, it's complete.....nothing missing But, it's a big package that will make enough rice to feed a crowd. To make smaller batches.....for each cup of uncooked rice, just add water (about 2 cups), and, stir in 3 tablespoons of the mix, and, 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. I make it using a rice cooker and don't even bother browning the rice first. Comes out great! Even my Latino friends have compliment me on it!

I ordered the mexican rice that came in the 11oz package. For 1 or 2 cups of rice how much of the mix do I add? I don't need to make 2 quarts of rice.

Honestly, I haven't tried the seasoning yet, but my plans were to use a few Tablespoons (per 1 cup water/broth). I wish they made these in smaller servings like other packaged seasonings, but from the reviews, this makes amazing Mexican Rice, so I couldn't pass up trying it. good flavor

I wish this came in packets for smaller number of servings per packet. I used to buy it in packets that made 6 servings and used it often. I googled to get the amount used for only six servings without a problem. I like the flavor of this mix.

Delicious

This makes the best Mexican rice! To make a small batch, here is my recipe: one cup of rice, 2 tablespoons mix, 1 tablespoon oil, 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.

Makes very tasty rice.

One heaping tablespoon per cup of uncooked rice. Directions on the package Are for using the entire package So it took a little experimenting. It is probably a little bit expensive To use Packaged as it is. Would be nice to see it available in a larger resealable jar.
