Such a great read!
I take my hat off to author Reed Benson. Compelling evidence indeed of the latter day presence of the House of Israel in Britain and Europe. I thought I had a reasonably good grasp of the subject matter previous to reading this book but as the saying goes - "you don't know what you don't know." My knowledge base is now greatly extended and I really appreciate the effort and detail that is presented in this very informative publication.

Nice little summary
Nice little summary of the Anglo-Israel thesis. Though necessarily I do not believe the Saxe Coburg Gotha aka, the Windsor's hold the throne of David. I wouldn't necessarily agree to the idea, that Jeremiah went to England, though it can be a possibility I haven't seen enough evidence to prove otherwise. But what the main gold of this book, is you will find that the lost ten tribes of Israel ended up on the shores of Britain and Ireland as well other European nations. Overall it's a great introductory into the truth. If you want to find out more about the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel, Steven M Collins books, does a great factual scholarly study and dissection. As well as other sources such as the STORY OF CELTO-SAXON ISRAEL, By W. H. Bennett and many others if you are eager and willing to look for it.

Little known Biblical and Historical truth
More and more folks are finding out the truth and this is a good book by which to begin. This was once common knowledge to Americans, but with the advent of Marx & Darwin during the middle of the 1800s it was lost.Cast aside your pre-conceived PC dogma and study what the Bible REALLY teaches.

Must read
Great book. Must read. A lot of historical evidence linking people to the 10 tribes.

It's a good first start for anyone beginning to research the Caucasian-Israelite ...
As Mr. Benson mentions in his book, "this isn't meant to be an exhaustive study", rather, as other have mentioned in this thread, it' more of an introduction to theory that the Anglo-Saxon, Scandinavian and Germanic peoples are the literal descendants of Jacob/Israel.I have a few objections with some of the material, such as the notion that Yahshua was speaking of the Israelite and non-Israelite nations in Matthew 25:33 when speaking of the "Sheep" and the "Goats".. This is obviously a reference to the redeemed and unredeemed when read in it's proper context, and becomes evident from a cursory glance at the chapter. It's a good first start for anyone beginning to research the Caucasian-Israelite theory, but I'd recommend "Judah's Scepter and Joseph's Birthright" by J. H. Allen for a more insightful read.

A great mystery revealed!
Engaging and interesting. I have not finished it, but I am excited about the material thus read so far. It has just enough facts to whet the appetite without overwhelming you, but gives you a chance to do more personnel research if desired, I read some daily as I am a slow reader nowadays due to diminished eyesight. but I am looking forward to updating this review when completed... Bring a yellow marker as there are plenty of golden nuggets of truth that are worth writing down and reviewing. thank you and I look forward to the next book.

Some elements are based on opinion rather than true facts ...
Some elements are based on opinion rather than true facts through study. Such as the claim that Greece and Italy were Israelites. While some Israelites were there from the Diaspora which is provable. I have no evidence including the Bible that these were Israel irish nations. In fact Daniel chapter 7 would seem to indicate otherwise as it outlines the pagan nation empires that would come after Babylon.

Discover who the real Israelites/Hebrews are
This is a short but concise, lucid study into the origins of the 12 tribes of Israel, including the "lost 10 tribes". There are other works which go into much further depth and provide much more evidence but this book does an excellent job presenting these truths in a compact sub-180 page novel. It is a fantastic introductory read to the subject and despite its brevity it is very comprehensive. It also illustrates who the "Jews" of today, for the most part, are. As well as scriptural references that support the idea of fake Jews in both past and future (present) tense. It provides historical evidence of migrations, genealogical charts etc.An excellent read if you want to know the truth about the past and whom the true Israelites are.

Outrageous or the Truth
I had recently read a biography of Henry Ford of motor manufacturing fame and his difficult relationship with Jews. There was reference in the book to the thesis that the so called lost tribes of Israel are alive and well in Europe and America and are the rightful claimants to the land which is modern Israel. Whilst it is an amazing thesis I do not think the argument put forward is sufficiently scientific to support it. It might be OK to interpret the Bible as alluding to the "Nations" as those who entered a diaspora beyong the Caucusus eventually ending up in the far flung corners of Western Europe, but it is another to substantiate this theory. There is a reference to Arthur Koestler's book "The Thirteenth Tribe". Koestler was a Zionist (read Promise and Fulfillment), but strictly did not believe that the Ashkenazi Jew was descended from the ancient tribes which remained In Judeah before their subsequent expulsion. Keoestler was quick to point out that the ability to measure "Race" was to consider measurements of the skull: "the cranial index". Within the different races there was a propensity for a certain type of cranial measurement which would reasonably determine race. It would appear that the disparate tribes of Israel which would include Slavs and others might not be determined by Biblical reference alone, but using the technique that Koestler discusses. The author has not referred to this determining factor. Whilst it is extremely interesting there is insufficient proof of his theory. I am sure that there may be people who have descended from those who were expelled in antiquity from Israel by the Assyrians, but how far do you go with this hypothesis. Nevertheless, it is an interesting and readable book even if you cannot support the ultimate thesis. If we go along with everything that is stated this could mean that Hitler himself was descended from Israel.Koestler himself in his relatively short book on the Khazars (The Thirteenth Tribe) gleaned his information partly from a more academic tome entitled "The History of the Jewish Khazars" by D M Dunlop (Princeton Oriental Studies - 1955)written many, many years ago. This supports the Ashkenazim/ Khazari thesis but, to my knowledge, not the authors (Reed Benson's) current theories.Sorry Mr Benson, I am not ready yet to return to the land of my so called fathers.

excellent read.
I must say this proves what I was taught at school as a child in North Wales.my only complaint is that the author, (to a proud Welshman) comes across as an arrogant upper class Englishman. plus the fact he doesn't go into Welsh and Cornish history too much. considering the Welsh language is derived from Hebrew, I would of considered that was worth mentioning.all in all it's a very good and easy read. sticks to scripture to prove his points, and backs up his claims with evidence.it's stated that it's not an in depth research, but does give a rather long list of books he used as his research at the end of the book.worth reading if you are interested in where we (the British people) originally came from.
