Find your way in a crazy world
I feel this book would appeal to many people who want to make sense of the world we live in today. The authors face reality about the world, the God who made it and us. Reading it brought to my mind things I don't usually think about and realize I should. I'm working my way through it while I'm involved in the Colson Fellows Program.

A Great Worldview Primer for Discipleship
As my title suggests, Colson's book would be a great worldview primer for discipleship purposes. In a day and age where people believe that creation is an accident and God is a non-issue, we have to begin by demonstrating that it is more logical to look to a Creator than to presume that all of creation is a coincidence, what Colson called pre-evangelism.To take it a step further, many people in the church don't even have a Biblical worldview. This book equips you to begin spiritual formation of one's worldview -- and will help alter your own as well.Having Nancy Pearcey on board for this book is a God-send. Colson's past work has had a tendency to be rather dry and laborious. Pearcey's contribution is a noticeable difference as the book flows and reads very well. Every section is broken up into smaller sections that are typically no more than a few pages, which makes it easy to set goals and get through this book -- don't let it's size discourage you! While I sometimes felt Colson was far too staunchly evangelical, I'm glad I read it and recommend it for anyone struggling to define or help others realize a proper Christian worldview.

How Now Shall We Live?
This book may have been written years ago, but it is still applicable today. It may be a little long, but the message is a great one, and the stories break up the monotony and give relevance to the subject. Highly recommend.

How Now Shall We Live?
Charles Colson discusses the most critical issues of life and explains why people have so many problems that could have been avoided. Charles Colson discusses what should be important in life. Great book. The book is a little lengthly, however, it is all very interesting. The book provides many examples to help illustrate the point he is making. I give it 5 stars. I would recommend this book to anyone who is seeking a more fulfilling, more focused, more stress free life. I believe this book could change someone's life for the better. If one follows this book, they will undoubtedly live a more fulfilling life. I strongly recommend this book.

The audible book is shorter than the kindle version
Excellent book, I bought the kindle book with audible to focus my reading but quickly realized they were 2 different versions. The audible version is much shorter and skips parts of each chapter.... not sure why this is not in the description of the audible version.

Battle between worldviews
The authors are skillful in presenting difficult material in a readable and understandable fashion. I am roughly half way through and can say that I am now more knowledgable, confident and hopeful in matters covered. There are formible arguments for the existence and loving intervention into the world of a personal God. The arguments are captured and plainly expressed in the book. In a real sense, one can easily concude that faith in God is at least as reasonable as "faith" in the opposite world view. This book lays out a solid case for this conclusion. Also very much liked "The Reason For God" by Timothy Keller for the samereasons. TL

An intriguing story book
I read this slowly over time, because i quickly realized what a treasure of stories mixed with wisdom it really contained. Stories of a Chinese woman-diplomat, a prison reformer in Latin America, a story about a couple who were drawn into a utopian community. . . . . each story-interesting in its own right. . . .each heading toward stepping away from the details of life and looking at a broad worldview. It takes a bit of work to read this large book, but it is ABSOLUTELY worth your time!!
