Wonderful Buetooth receiver
I was looking for a Bluetooth receiver for my car and I found this to be affordable, practical and simple to use. I have it for almost a year now, and I did not have issues at all.The quality sound is great and it does not suffer from connection lost at all, it has been working flawlessly up until now, the battery life is great and I almost do not feel it because I try to always have it plug to the USB charger. You can connect up to two devices to the receiver which is always a plus in case of different music taste from your passenger. It is easy to use as it only has 3 buttons, to change music, volume and turn on/off. The range is great as well, but I think this feature is not applicable if you just only use it in your car.Would recommend it.

Small and perfect
My son has one of these for his car so thought I would try connecting to an old Mirantz hifi so could connect my phone. So glad I did connects easily and sound quality is perfect no issues with clarity at all. I always buy Anker products as I find them to be good quality and reliable and at a great price. Would recommend now I can stream any music

Bought in September. Stopped working in December, but quickly replaced by Anker.
I bought this to let my Yamaha Silent Brass play the metronome app on my phone via Bluetooth. It worked two or three times and then just stopped working. I did all the usual stuff like unpairing and repairing, turning every off and on. I tested it with a different phone and with amp and it was the same result. Eventually I worked out that it is working, but is so quiet even with volume at maximum on all devices that it is useless.Seemed like a good solution, was very straight forward to set-up, but it only lasted three months and that was with very little use.Edit to add: after a bit of a false start with the live chat on Anker's website, I emailed and they were very quick to replace the broken one. Updated the star rating in case the one that broke was a one-off and to reflect good customer service. Thank you Anker.

works extremely well compact in size.
use for my vintage style stereo in my car and it works very well, the connectivity is good and when someone calls its also provides good sound quality to the person on the phone, there doesnt seem to be any lag and its compact you can hide it away, the battery life is also good. using the item is also simple so i cannot fault this item.

Better than expected, great sound quality when paired with the adapter
Bought this to purely stream podcasts and music. Great sound quality when used with the adapter, can’t comment on whether the sound quality would drop with the cable as I’m yet to use it. Also cannot comment on whether the microphone is any good.Battery life is alright for the odd 20-30 minute commute, can usually get around 2-3 weeks of use before needing to recharge. The device is also a lot smaller than expected, which is great because it can slot perfectly into any glovebox.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and for the price I would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their infotainment system in their vehicle.

Almost great
Using this with my iPhone Xr and the 3.5mm aux in my 2009 VW Passat. It works. Music is very good and the mic is ok for phone calls. It’s also tiny, which (in theory) should make it very easy to stick in a discrete place on a dashboard. Looks like a quality item. However, the positioning of the ports and buttons and mic is very poorly thought out which makes this very difficult.I wanted to leave it hidden away and not have to see it or touch it, by leaving it plugged in to my 12v USB charger so when I switch on my engine, it automatically turns on. It will automatically switch off after a while once you leave the car anyway. However, the charger port is on one side, and the 3.5mm jack on another. That means that it’s very difficult to hide in the car because you have two cables sticking out on two sides. The buttons are on yet another side, so access to them - if required - means you need to take that into consideration. And get ready to learn what the various light sequences mean. Charging, connected, charging while connected, searching, searching while connected, searching while charging etc all have different sequences. I’ve literally never ever had to check a manual to find out what various lights mean. It reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Mr Burns is giving Homer instructions during a baseball game.Overall, it works well, and it’s worth the money……but I would love to help Anker design one in such a way that most car owners would appreciate. Feels like it was designed on autoCAD and never tested in the real world.Good, but could be great. Also, the “two devices at once” is very poorly implemented. The second device doesn’t auto connect, and even when it is connected, the first device has to disconnect to allow it to play music.EDIT 13/3/25 Eventually replaced this with a (cheaper) UGreen equivalent that resolves the annoyances with the Anker transmitter.

A superb little piece of kit which has modernised my old hi-fi set-up really well!
Does what it says in the hype - and does it well! A Bluetooth receiver only, it is compact (small matchbox size), well-made (as expected from Anker) and produces great sound on my old hi-fi when I stream Spotify or iTunes through it from my iPhone or iPad.Not yet run out of first charge so no idea how long it will actually last.My old mini-system has no 3.5mm audio input (just a headphone-out socket) so I bought a quality 2-Male RCA Adapter Cable (or try Amazon Basics model currently @ £6) and it works perfectly. The solid double male-ended adapter works well but a 3.5mm audio cable gives easier access to the on-off button & controls if your audio out is round the back of the system.Bluetooth range seems OK and will work when I am with my phone (source) in the room next door to the hi-fi & speakers. However, two walls is too much (can't hear it properly that far off anyway). Not yet tested the phone system - did not buy it for this anyway as my hi-fi systems have no mike attached. Not sure why they included a noise cancellation review category as it does not appear relevant to me.Overall, a super little piece of kit which has modernised my old hi-fi set-up really well.
