Solo: A star Wars Story 3D is not Mastered from 3D source
This movie is 2D and converted in 3D like we do in our 3D TVs by converting 2D prog. into 3D. All the content will look like you are seeing through a window. But it creates a strain on EYEs because its not from 3D stereoscopic source.3D movies which are native 3d source while shooting they don't create strain on eyes. Although you will love to watch enjoy things coming (POPOUT) from screen to your eyes. Even in USA this movie launch in 4K and 2K not in 3D than how can Sony DADC produce 3D bluray. Its like manufacturing Fake 3D Bluray product and asking higher price for 2D master converted to 3D .

Katastrophaler 3D Effekt
ICH WILL MEIN GELD ZURÜCK!!!!!!

Why so much negativity? What's not to like? This is Star Wars!!!
I can't understand the negativity around this movie. I get a lot of people didn't like The Last Jedi. But this is not that movie. In fact it simply does what it says on the tin - tells the story of a younger Han Solo.It manages to pack in a lot of the fun of the original Star Wars: A New Hope. It is a romp. It's not full of too many serious issues and it should appeal to anyone who enjoyed the original trilogy. It is certainly a lot lighter in tone than Rogue One - which I also love - but it's good to have contrast. Also what humour is present is entirely justified. There are certainly lots of thrills too. And you see a lot of events which are referred to in the other movies. As a long time follower of Star Wars, one thing I noticed is how this movie seems to reference Han's adventures both in the early Marvel comics and the Brian Daley books. It underlines that the Empire isn't the only threat in the galaxy and we see more of the scoundrel and less of the rebel. That's what make this stand out for me. It harks back to the original repetition of Han as we first saw him.Han isn't an anodyne hero. In fact, he's trying hard not to be a hero. There is a sequence towards the end where we see the harder side of him which we only glimpse in A New Hope - think Greedo. It is obvious that the movie has been left in such a way that a follow up could be made. I hope we get at least one, but it could just as easy be left as it is.Overall a more accessible entry into the canon that say The Last Jedi - although I enjoyed that too, but for different reasons. Also there are shedloads of Easter eggs to keep fans happy. And a big surprise just tops that off.If you are wondering if this is worth getting, do yourself a favour and get it. You may even enjoy it.

Genialer Film
Ich bin mit absolut gemischten Gefühlen ins Kino gegangen, denn den 8. Teil der Star Wars Reihe fand ich außerirdisch.... Schlecht!

HDR implementation is very dark
Watched this on a 2021 LG OLED C series and it was the darkest HDR movie I can recall. The only bright things are the blaster bolts and sparks. Scenes in pitch darkness are also quite grey, which is strange. Possibly it has been tone mapped for super mega bright LED TVs and it doesn't translate well to Oleds.

Quality not as high as expected
I'm not going to comment on the story-line but just the quality of the disk itself: for me this was disappointing and I can honestly state that personally, I can not see much difference between the DVD version and this. As a comparison, I played the DVD version on my 4k player (which up-scales) and compared it to this UHD disk and as I've already stated, personally I can not see much of an improvement; certainly not that much of an improvement to justify the price differential between the two versions. If you are expecting UHD Planet Earth II quality you are not going to get it. But then I suppose that's the way things are - quality varies.
