Great cover, HOWEVER...
I sent it back. It was my oversight that this cover would not fit a Silencerco Omega 300. It was Magpul's oversight that it was not designed with rings/spacers to fit a Silencerco Omega 300, one of the most popular cans on the market. Good materials, design and quality, otherwise. Typical Magpul. I'm really just astounded that it was designed to fit without any consideration for cans that aren't only one exact size. It will not "bend to meet" other sizes, even if only .015" off. It speaks a lot to precision, but not to modularity!

Doesn’t fit common 1.5” products.
I have a small slim can, 1.56” in diameter, 5” long. This doesn’t fit. Every other 1.5” can I own doesn’t fit either. The tolerances for the clamp are far too small. Magpul, you really fumbled this product. It’s a brilliant concept but it’s designed for a single product that has fallen out of favor. You need more flexibility for the diameter and more lengths.

Works Incredibly well, but...
The cover works Incredibly well and as intended, but it is just so bulky - but that's part of why it works so well. I can shoot over 100 rounds through this pretty quickly and can still touch it without burning my hands. It dissipates heat very well. Pros: - Works as advertised and dissipates heat very well. - can touch the cover after long shooting sessions at the range and even remove the suppressor and cover from the gun after shooting without issue. Cons: - Very Bulky - Difficult to get on and the instructions and images are very unclear.

Fantastic mirage mitigation
This is a robust and great cover. It handles heat well and blocks the dreaded mirage coming off the can. It increases the overall diameter greatly at the end of your muzzle, so if you're thinking this would be good for a night time hunting purpose, where your setup is outfitted with a lo-pro light & IR designator, like a Steiner Dbal, or PEQ, then you'd be better to find something slimmer. It is not adequate for that purpose and even if your IR designator clears it, the signature splash coming off the cover will be distracting. Other than that, for general purposes, I recommend it highly.

Check your diameters
I got this for my YHM turbo 5.56. it was my oversight that thr turbo diameter is just outside of the dimensions. BUT with a little PB blaster, a vice and a rubber mallet it got it to fit after an hour of messing with it. It fits well now and I have run about 200 rounds through it over ~25 minutes and it was only warm to the touch. The size dose block some of the weapon light beam and I can't see it through my optic.

Don’t waste your money
This product does nothing for mirage in magnified optics. The mounting hardware skinned the paint on my RC2 and after two magazines of slow firing the outer sleeve expanded so much it was walking off of the mounts. Also, if you’re using an optic that has a low mount it will appear in the viewing lens due to the large diameter of the cover.

So darn bulky!
I'm sure these do an OK job with mirage mitigation, but they're bulky! And be prepared to experience potential scratches on the surface of your suppressor. This fits more than snuggly on an RC2, it will be a battle to uninstall, I promise you this Will use a suppressor wrap instead, even though this offers the advantage of not trapping the heat in
