Affordable and Works
I transitioned my cat from Royal Canin S/O to this food. I can no longer afford the Royal Canin. My cat had no stomach issues and loves the taste. Thank you Iams for having an affordable alternative for cats with bladder crystals.

No More Crystals, No Fuss at Mealtime
This food has been a solid choice for our household of picky felines and past UTI issues. One of our cats had urinary crystals a while back, and since switching to this, we haven’t had a single recurrence. That alone makes it worth it.They actually *like* the taste (a minor miracle), and I haven’t noticed any issues with smell—it’s cat food, not potpourri, so I’ll take neutral as a win. The ingredients aren’t boutique-organic, but they’re solid for this price point, and the first ingredient is chicken, which is more than some higher-end brands can say.We buy the big 22 lb bag, and it lasts a while - even with multiple cats- without going stale. They’ve maintained a healthy weight, and their coats look great. If you’ve got cats prone to urinary problems, this is an easy yes.

Much more economical than prescription food
My UTI prone kitty loves this food. He hated the prescription food the vet recommended. He will eat this, and it costs about half of what the prescription food does. It seems to be just as good as the prescription food too. He hasn’t had any problems with passing his fluids, which is an absolute relief to me. It isn’t stinky cat food either. I am hoping my boy will be able to eat this until he grows old!

Great size and very convenient!
Works really well for cats with previously diagnosed urinary issues. Fraction of the price of rx cat foods. This is my cats preferred food. They seem to love the smell and taste. Will continue to purchase.

Great food!
I switched my cats to this a few years ago and almost immediately noticed a difference in how soft and luscious their fur is now. I have a lot of cats because they get dumped here so while this brand is more expensive than some others, it does appear to be much better quality. I get the urinary tract health food because of how common it is for males to get blocked. Since I switched I've only lost one male from this terrible condition. Considering how many strays come and go here, I consider that a success. And probably most importantly: the cats love it. They were thrilled when I switched them to this.

SAVE YOUR MONEY & BUY THIS INSTEAD OF THE EXPENSIVE SCIENCE HILL’S C/D URINE CARE
If your cat has urination problems or crystals, GET THIS!! Took my cat to the vet bc I noticed he kept repeatedly going to the litter box and squatting to pee but only little drops came out. I was terrified he had a blockage. $400 dollars later, the vet tells me there was no blockage, but blood in his urine and some small crystals. His medicine? A bag of $100 cat food (Science Hill’s urinary care c/d to be exact) to break up the crystals and prevent them from coming back. Of course I bought it and all is well, but $100 for a bag of cat food when I free feed and have 3 cats is just too expensive. I know a lot of people cannot afford it. Believe me, I’ve done the research and this IAMS PH cat food is just as good. It lowers the cat urine PH to prevent these crystals and blockages. It is the sodium bisulfate ingredient in this cat food that reduces the PH. Basically baking soda so it works! Save your money and choose IAMS!

It's a good deal
Is that a great price for the size bag? It was when I purchased it. I thought I was getting the medium size bag and it was the large bag.. this is the only kind of food I use for my indoor cats. Seems to be working well. One of my Persians is susceptible to UTIs and she hasn't had one since we started this food. She came off of prescription food because it was so expensive. I'm happy with it though the cats seem to like it

My cat prefers this food over canned salmon!
Our cat, Orion, has had recurring bouts of urinary tract inflammation. There's no sign of infection or crystals in his urine, but he periodically has difficulty urinating, and blood in his urine.Up to recently, he has been eating the dog's food. I know that is not ideal for a cat, but we have a couple of finicky canine eaters, that nibble at the food all day long, and one aggressive eater, so trying to manage feeding the three dogs differing eating habits once or twice a day seemed pretty complicated. We've been going to the vet, when Orion has an episode every few months, and getting meds, which I've been sprinkling on a small can of salmon or tuna, but it seemed like that was only a temporary fix.So. . . recently I ordered a bag of IAMS urinary tract health cat food, to see how/if it worked. I don't know long term its effect on the cat's UT issues, but the cat LOVES the food. I'd been picking up the dogfood bowl at night and putting out the cat food, so the cat had nothing else to eat at night, and then moving the cat food bowl to the counter during the day.The cat discovered the bowl location and now jumps up on the counter to eat the cat food all day long. Apparently he's so full from the dry cat food, that he's turning up his nose on his morning can of salmon. He no longer wants it, which greatly surprised me.I don't have any experience with cat food. The 7# bag was $16. Which I think kind of expensive, but worth it, if it solves the cat's urinary tract issues. . .🙂Dave
