Sleek, strong, finely crafted, stylish and fast. This lowly kitchen instrument aspires to higher things. It's beautiful to look at, with its shiny brushed stainless handle. The heft of it is a hint at how firm and sturdy it feels when it's being used. The peeling blades are razor sharp and glide over surfaces with a smooth, swift feel. A very nice extra is that the point of the peeler, for potato eye removal, is very sharp and actually works, unlike most so-called potato eyers. The fixed blade gives firm control over the direction of the cut; swivel peelers tend to wander around. I couldn't help the BMW comparison, because of its sleek design, speed and control as you change direction -- quick handling in the curves, so to speak. I find it a pleasure to use. I've had it for about two months, and I'm still having fun with it, looking for recipes that call for peeling vegetables. The price isn't cheap for a veggie peeler, but it's about forty thousand dollars less than the car, and you'll have the fastest, sportiest, most luxurious vegetable peeler out there. I've already ordered another, for when one is in the dishwasher. Luxury on a budget, real bang for your buck. Highly recommended.

This broke almost immediately peeling a few radishes.

I definitely prefer the steady, sturdy blade of this style. Though the price was more than I wanted to spend on such a small kitchen tool and the tool itself has some rough edges on the handle, I love this peeler and I'm glad I bought it.

I have owned this peeler for 5 years and it works just as great today as the day I bought. I have tried various different peelers and have found this is the best. I do not consider peeling to be delicate work nor do I think it requires physical exertion like other reviewers. It is peeling - not over complicated and not a lot of effort....The peeler is expensive but well worth the money in my opinion. I would rather buy something that is better quality and will last many years or a lifetime than replacing something every 2 years.

Worse thing I ever used! Okay there’s something seriously wrong it’s this peeler! I’m pretty upset. It doesn’t peel plan and simple. It’s made heavy, fits the hand fine but it doesn’t peel. I am 72 yrs old. I have used many of these and this is not made correctly. I am not wasting more money to send it back. How in the world can you mess this up?????? It’s a peeler for goodness sake!!!?

This is for the Rosle standard non-swiveling peeler. As usual, this is a well constructed Rosle product but it just does not peel well. The blades are dull and will not bite into a carrot without pressing down with too much force to slice neatly. Looking elsewhere.

I had the Rosle swivel top peeler fro years. WONDERFUL. Lost it somehow in vegetable peelings. It was not available on Amazon so I bought the straight one. I have many many of your products and assumed it would be perfect.It peels well if you are peeling toward you -e.g. a small potato - but works not at all if peeling away from you in long strokes - e.g. a carrot.

After having used this peeler for several weeks and having adjusted to its cutting characteristics, I must admit that it is a high quality utensil which peels potatoes almost as quickly as the one it replaced. Being fabricated entirely from stainless steel, it appears it won't rust out and break like that one did. The handle is small enough to comfortably fit in almost any size hand.

Preso la prima volta 30 anni fa, dopo onorato servizio e utilizzo quotidiano per ogni tipo di verdure, purtroppo si è spezzato, forse anche per un utilizzo non proprio adeguato. Ed è per questo che recentemente l'ho riacquistato identico; la marca è una garanzia dei qualità dei materiale e in particolar modo degli acciai. Comunque, mia moglie non ne avrebbe voluto un altro.
