It is for short or thin hair
If you dye your hair, it leaves it with a hard texture like you used gel, but it leaves it silver and does not have an unpleasant smell.

This was the BEST for my beetlejuice costume. however, it was hard to wash out.

Not good.
I want to add for reference that my hair is dark brown and fine.I followed the directions exactly but after one swipe or two the product practically disappeared. Photo 1 is after about five minutes trying to work it into that strand. I tried that tactic for about thirty minutes but it just kept knotting and disappearing. I put my hair in a ponytail for the character I was doing, and just lathered it on. That was the only way I could get it to show up. It basically made my hair feel like straw. It was very uncomfortable and messy even after drying. The only good thing was the ease of removal. I did three round of shampoo and most of it was gone by the second, I just wanted to be sure. Pic 3 is after my shower to show the difference in texture and color. All in all, would not recommend for any serious costumes. I was lucky and just needed it for a kids party.

Good stuff!
I've only used it twice and it works great. You may need to play with it a bit to find you own way to apply it. But so far so good.

works fine
it was ok. i used it for 100th day of pre-k. it washes out the hair very easy. i actually wiped it out with a wash cloth because the hair was in braids. its a thick consistency. i would probably buy a spray version next time instead but will keep this just incase

made my hair look awful but easy to clean
I wish I had taken a picture of the nightmare my hair had looked like. Let me preface this with: I am white and have light brown, semi-wavy hair. So maybe this product is just not for white people hair…I watched numerous YouTube videos, read all the instructions, and made sure I knew how to apply this product. I don’t box dye and haven’t had my hair professionally dyed in years, so my hair is essentially “virgin” at this point. It was easy to put on. Slathered it on in less than a half hour, considering I have mid-back length hair. I put the entire container in my hair, made sure it was in all the strands and roots. And then went to brush and blow dry and was when it went to hell.It was incredibly painful to brush through since it’s wax, but everything I read/watched encouraged that to make sure it was thoroughly in the hair. It instantly made my hair poofy and frizzy. I looked like Hermione Granger from the first Harry Potter movie.I mentioned my hair is semi-wavy so I am used to knots- but this was so painful I was crying. And by the time it was done and dried and brushed through, half the product had come out leaving chunks of hair undyed.I’m giving it 2 stars because it was easy to use, smells really good, came out easily, and was $10. I would give it 1 for the painful experience and how awful my hair looked when it was over.Again, maybe this product isn’t made for white people hair. If that’s the case, there should be a disclaimer and advertising shouldn’t have white people in it.I guess I’m extra upset because I intended this to be for a special one day occasion. But geez Louise was this a nightmare.Kudos to those who can get it work- I’m jealous

Messy but cute!
This is cute! Easy to apply. Didn't show up well on dark hair but great on my blonde hair
