Filters are essential on oil furnaces. Without them, you will be replacing the atomizers needlessly. Every time you fill up your furnace oil tank, replace the filter. If you don’t have a filter, have one installed.

Do not understand delivery service
Perfect match for what I needed, but being in a rural area, gated community, which UPS comes in and out all the time. Why are my orders always sent from USPS (after drop off by UPS) from which I have to go to the post office to pick up?????

I purchased this filter as my old filter was starving my furnace of oil. My filter restriction gauge was in the red zone and my furnace was shutting down. As soon as I replaced the filter with this one, the gauge showed no restriction and the furnace is now operating as it should. It is a spin on filter like most cars and trucks so it is easily changed. I recommend placing a small container under the filter when removing the old one to catch any spills. I saved myself a service call...
