We all battle inner struggles—whether it's self-doubt, depression, fear, or anger. It’s time to get out of your own way. Whether you recognize it or not, you're at war with yourself. There's anxiety. Selfishness. Self-sabotaging tendencies. Narcissism. Depression. The inability to do the great things you long to do because you spend so many hours mindlessly drifting through the internet. It is war, but all is not lost. You can win—if you choose to engage. In I Declare War, Levi Lusko candidly shares his struggles with moodiness, bullying, suicidal thoughts, night terrors, and difficulty managing himself. He identifies four weapons you have at your disposal—thoughts, words, behaviors, and power—and illustrates how to use them to achieve ongoing victory. These practical tools from God’s Word will help you learn to: Retaliate against your anxiety by filling your heart with truth and making it inhospitable to terror Stop being victimized by your bad behaviors and become the victor you were born to be Overcome self-imposed isolation by learning to think right so you can live right Spare your family unnecessary heartache by confronting your dysfunction so they don’t have to It’s time to stop being your own worst enemy. Declare war and become the person, the spouse, the parent, and the leader God intended you to be. Review: A Great Resource on Winning the Battle with Yourself - In his book, I Declare War, author Levi Lusko uses the model of the card game War to share four keys to winning the battle within yourselves and encouraging you to allow the wolf to rise up inside of you. The first card, declaring war on what you think, helps us take our thoughts captive so we can become a better version of ourselves. The second card, declaring war on what you say, encourages us to talk about the victory we should be striving for. The third card, declaring war on what you do, reminds us that we need to act in the belief that we can shape the direction of our lives by acting on what we know we should do. But the fourth card, just like in the game of War, is the most important card of all, and that is the power of the gospel at work within us. The first three cards are only effective if the fourth card is in place. And once it is, you can finally unleash the wolf, the strength and courage you never knew you had, inside of you. All of this is explained with stories and insights from the author’s own life. Both practical and relevant, this book is written in an easy-to-understand tone that the audience can easily identify with, even teenagers. This book is a great resource that I would recommend to practically anyone. Review: Best Bible Study!!! Life Changes! - Christian Bible Study: My fave!!!! I highly recommend this book and the study guide that goes with it- excellent Bible Study on your own or with a group. We did it with the videos in our Sunday School class. Super amazing, life changing ways to stop being our worst enemy. Eye opening way to get closer to God, no matter where you are at with your walk this will have something for everyone!! The tools and resources contained in this book are so wonderful. If you can splurge for the video, get it too because Pastor Levi Lusko has an easy way of talking about the topic. His stories are great and the setting is in New Mexico I believe. A wonderful experience that happened to me is that our Sunday School class is multi-generational and it was great to hear from across the room, across our social circles that we are all fighting the same battles..sometimes differently, and it unites us as women! This Bible Study is not just intended for women.

Amazing Book!
Holy Moly this book. This book is rocking my world. This book has been challenging me with some of the things Levi has been saying that hasn’t ever challenged me before. I am about half way finished with it but it’s so good what I have read so far. Some things Levi has mentioned in the book has really stood out to me like “You are not your career; you are not your collection of shoes or followers; you are not your car, your job or the table you sit at in the school cafeteria. Instead put your value in being Gods daughter or son, in being loved by him”(page 62). “You are what He thinks, not what you think” (page 60). This part in the book about insecurity really got me. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to win a battle against themselves. This is one of the best books I have read in awhile.

Incredible, relevant resource
I Declare War is such a needed resource for this generation. It is real and personal in such a relavant way, that I found myself literally nodding as I read descriptions of feelings I thought I was alone in dealing with. Levi’s vulnerability opens the door for wisdom in some of the deepest darkest places of the soul, where far too many have closed themselves off to acknowledging because of fear, shame, and doubt. Levi boldly and confidently declares Truth with practical advise as to how to apply it to the territories in life where the Enemy has held ground for too long. I Declare War is an instrument of liberty that declares war on personal strongholds and enables readers to wisely and confidently live free and strong

Declare War and Take Back your Mind
“You can’t live right if you don’t think right.” Levi Lusko, “I Declare War.” We have no control over the thoughts that enter our minds daily, but we can filter them. Not every thought leads us in the right direction. Not all we hear or think about every day is true. Deciphering lies and distortion between our ears is an important life skill. It can launch us into our purpose or it can severely trip us up along way. This book meets us in that practical struggle, and provides applicable lessons to harness our thoughts. From beginning to end, Lusko weaves personal stories into four basic lessons that are easily relatable and entertaining. The Biblical roots of the “4 Keys to Winning the Battle with Yourself,” give Lusko’s message strong legs to stand on. After reading it, I felt a little better equipped to walk boldly into my daily life than I did before. It created a renewed sense of purpose and better understanding of how hard work and Holy Spirit power work in tandem. The detail of the stories, especially in reference to middle school life and amazon prime, are hilarious and relatable. The book is broken up into four major sections with great take-aways, making it easy to read through quickly. Lusko’s passion for helping others tap into the power of Christ in their lives is evident, and the Scriptural teachings along the way make the inspirational tones credible and applicable. This book goes just deep enough to intrigue and inspire change, but not so much that it reads like a Bible Study or research heavy material. I recommend this book for anyone struggling with self-confidence, doubt, anxiety, discontent, or for those simply seeking a little extra motivation to dig deep and accomplish everything God has laid out for them to do. “Time doesn’t change you, it just makes you more of who you are.” Levi Lusko

This generation needs this book
I went into this book not knowing a lot about it, I just went for it because I've read Levi's other books and gone through his last one with my youth ministry. I ended up connecting with this book on a really deep level. It is more than just a book filled with general godly principles, it's a book filled with godly principles that this generation in extreme need for. I am a youth pastor and I also work in a therapeutic youth group home, and it's only Monday (I read the book over the weekend) and I'm already taking a lot of things that I've learned and applying to myself, and then approaching the kids I work with and passing it on. I'm excited about the practicality of these lessons and I'll be buying more books to give away along with Swipe Right

Loved This Book
In my humble opinion this is the best book that Levi Lusko has written. It’s easy reading, enjoyable, thought provoking and so helpful in becoming self aware of areas in your life that need growth and adjustment. I love Levi’s style of writing and his transparency. I happen to go to the church he pastors and I look forward to the truth and insights he gleans from the Bible, to apply to our everyday life.

A specific kind of good
Levi Lusko talks plainly and simply, which is super-helpful. It is intended to begin as self-help and finish off with the finished work of Jesus, but because of the structure and author I’m not 100% sure whether it’s for non-Christian folk exploring self-help through a Christian lens, or young Christians/new converts looking for some support.

Life changing in a practical thought provoking achievable way
This book was amazing. Levi uses science, psychology, history, the Bible, personal stories, humor, and authenticity to expose the ways we as human beings get in our own way and what we can practically do to change it and why we even should! It was a great read. My book is marked and highlighted from front to back and as I flipped close the last page, I'm deeply considering to flipping open the first one and starting it again. This book is a Treasure
