Great for auto techs
Amazing quality product. I work in the automotive industry as a detail and interior repair technician. My clothing tends to take quite a beating. Been wearing this to work for several months, and it still looks brand new. Thick quality material, warm, and has kept me dry while pressure washing outside in the winter air. My husband is a mechanic with a zip version and although it will still take on some oil staining, it washes out and holds up well. Worth the investment for anyone but especially if you are a blue collar worker in need of warm, high quality work clothing that will last.

Best hoodie on the planet, but I want mock neck full zip.
I absolutely love this hoodie. It’s warm, dry, blocks the wind, comfortable and looks great. The mock neck is something that sets it apart from every other hoodie on the planet. Baerskin, Brunt, no one is close. I usually get large, which is kind of too big to put a vest over it, so I went medium. It fits perfectly so long as it doesn’t shrink too much. Given my experience I doubt it will too much. (I’m 5-08 185lbs.)But, and here’s the but, I wish it was available as a full zip. C’mon Carhartt make this mock neck goodness in a full zip. There’s no telling what I’d pay for that. I have a full zip rain defender with a mock neck, no hood tho. Also, I wish it had the inner pouch on both sides, not just the right. And if you added zippers to the pockets you would eclipse all other outer wear there is, even tho it already does. I give it 5 stars, but a few adjustments and it’d be 6 stars.

5 stars but I had to return the first one and order a size down.
The quality is unmatched. The first thing i did was wash and dry it to see if it would shrink. It didn't shrink at all. I am 6'2" and 245. I carry most of my weight in my torso. I usually wear an XL Tall if i can but most of the time it is hard to find the Tall option. And that leads me to ordering a lot of XXL clothing that is often too big but I have to for the length, etc. I ordered the XL Tall and had to return for a Large Tall which fit perfect. I never wear a large in any clothing so I would probably recommend sizing down one size. Returns are simply with Prime, not sure about non-Prime accounts. These are quite simply the best quality sweatshirts I have ever bought. They are a bit on the pricy side but the quality cannot be disputed. I paid $69.99 and I love them so much, I bought 3 . They do great in rain though you don't want to treat them as rain gear. They are rain repellant so you want to limit your rain exposure but the rain is repelled quite well... basically you can get from A to B and not get wet through the shirt. I may buy back ups in all the colors I already have. They are that good.Side note: These are heavy grade material. They are not super soft like all cotton sweatshirts. They are NOT overly stiff but expect them to be stiffer than your regular low cost sweatshirts. These are made for durability and they seem like they will be very durable indeed. Still very very comfortable.

well made
Thi is very warm, soft on the inside, and made well. I do not like pull over hoodies, and with only a 1/4 zip, there is less chance of wind or cold getting to the front chest/stomach area.

Carhartt runs one size large
Great quality, just runs a size too large.

True to size
Purchased this as a Christmas present for my husband. He expressed its true to size as he is a 5’8” 195lb who wears a large. The material quality is amazing and does its job keeping you warm. The hoodie has a lining of the same material that provides coverage for the neck area for extra comfort and warmth! It is a pullover and most definitely WATER RESISTANT. So to degree does this heavy duty jacket do its job in keeping you dry before it penetrates through. My husband has said he believes there is another layer within the jacket that prevents your body from being soaked but you feel the weight of the jacket being more heavy. Overall he is a happy trucker and it’s his main go to jacket on rainy days!
