How true to size please

Too small. I'm medium build but even though I bought XL its still a bit too tight.

Is the material cotton or polyester ?

Hi Sorry for the delay in replying. The material is 95% cotton and 5% Lycra. First time washed it shrunk, and stitching is coming away at the sleeve. Not worth the money.

There’s something wrong with the mens size chart which states that xxl is 26” chest ( the same as a 9 year old on the kids tab!!) can anyone help?

This confused me too until I realised they are measuring the shirt flat, on ONE SIDE ONLY, from armpit to armpit. Therefore you can roughly double this number to get your normal chest size. I have since noticed that several similar items on Amazon are listed using this method. Hope this helps others.
