I purchased this about 6 months ago to replace a cheap plastic one and it’s been great. Sturdy, easy to use handle on top and easy to clean. Cost a bit more but worth it.

I purchased (on Amazon) two previous microwave covers, both all glass, both dropped a foot onto the floor and shattered -- the last one from the same vendor, Bezrat, very sturdy. This is glass on the top, but has a microwave-safe lower portion, and is larger -- it fits all around our dinner plates rather than balancing on the edge. Since it is lighter and not totally glass I am betting this will last longer. And it WORKS -- just the right amount of venting to keep in moisture. A must-have accessory unless you are a fan of cleaning your microwave after ever high heat event.

Pros: · Helps your food cook more evenly · Easier to handle than plastic splatter guards (which can get very hot all over) since the handle is silicone and won't get hot easily. · Good size for even large dinner plates. · Easier to clean than plastic Cons: · Probably more money than most people would like to pay for a splatter guard · Too big for smaller microwaves (but the size was the reason I bought it so this may not be a con)

This cover is very well made and looks and feels amazing. It’s easy to clean and functions as expected, protecting the microwave from splatter and keeping food more moist. Only minor knock is that, due I presume to the heft/mass of the cover, food can take a little longer to cook. For example, heating up 2 hotdogs without a cover or with a thinner cover takes about 1 1/2 minutes. With this cover, the cook time increases to about 2 minutes. I assume that the cover initially absorbs a good bit of the microwave energy because of its mass. Regardless, I still would recommend this cover for all of the reasons mentioned in this review.

Large size fits over most plates. A little heavy due to glass top, but I feel the quality is great. Easy to wash.

This is great. I bought it 2+ years ago and it still rocks. I love knowing there is no plastic and it keeps my microwave very clean. It doesn’t get super hot on the handle typically. It’s big enough to fit most anything I heat. It’s slightly heavier than I’d prefer but it isn’t difficult, just a tad annoying if I’m feeling lazy but most the time I don’t even notice. It cleans really easily. It’s super handy and worth the money!!! Go ahead and get i!

It worked great. No deterioration of the silicon. Fantastic. Until this week ( a bit under 2 years of use ) and about 5 minutes after using it in the microwave the glass portion EXPLODED. glass all over the place.

Got rid of plastic microwave cover with the help of this nice cover. Very attractive red silicone with glass dome lid. Good size, obviously heavier than a plastic cover but completely manageable. Very nice product if you want to trash your plastic microwave covers.

This is a really good kitchen extra, a bit pricey but worth it. You will not burn yourself as the lid handle makes it easy to remove, super easy to clean and avoids splashes in the microwave. Two for one for cleaning.

Endlich mal eine Haube, die über den Teller passt, die nicht auf dem Essen aufliegt und wo man sich beim Abheben nicht die Finger verbrennt. Und platzsparend verstauen läßt sie sich auch noch. Einsatzort ist der Backofen mit integrierter Mikrowelle. Also Maße beachten!!

Great item, a little pricey but with it, you’ll never use another brand again.
