Q: Is it easy to clean? Doesn't dirt get into its soft texture easily?

I have used soapy water and a brush. Have washed it several times over the last 2.5 years. I've also submerged it completely contrary to instructions. Always comes up like new and the shape is rock solid, not affected by being submerged whatsoever.

Q: Is the case too thick to use with a magnetic car mount?

I sue mine with a magnetic car mount. My car mount came with a self adhesive metallic pad which I stuck to the inside of the case between the case and phone. Works fine but magnetic bond isn't that great, I also have a seam between 2 of the dash panels that supports the weight of the phone at the base, the magnet just keeps it upright more than anything.

Q: Will this fit the pixel 2 xl? it basically looks the same from what i can see in the picture comparison.

I love this case. Have had it for 2.5 years since getting the phone. It makes the phone slightly chunkier on the one hand, but on the other hand it grips well in the pocket, is far more tactile in hand, and protects the phone from all those little knocks. I'm not a phone-dropping type and certainly wouldn't advocate chucking a thousand pounds device about case or not. I only expect a case to offer knock resistance not drop proofing.
