Nice item, great seller
I am very satisfied with the quality of this lumbar pillow. It looks and feels very well made. I was a bit concerned the pump action would be gimmicky and not work well, but I am very pleased with how it works. You feel a clear expansion of the pillow with each pump of the bulb. The packaging doesn't include any real instructions, but I'd say 7-10 pumps would be the absolute max (I didn't want to risk maxing mine out - I'd think up to 5 pumps would be what most people would use). This is nice that you just need to pump it a few times to get the expansion you need - before receiving it I pictured myself having to furiously pump the bulb. Also, even fully deflated, the foam inside provides some support that might be all some people need. The only things different than the picture is that the cushion I received is black. Also there is an adjustable strap on it to fasten it to your chair-back, which is not pictured, but I assumed it would have. The company selling this item - Colonial Medical Assisted Devices - shipped the pillow super fast. I received it within 2-3 days of placing the order. The car I drive has about zero lumbar support in the seats so I am hoping this cushion will work under an aftermarket seat cover. I haven't started trying it out yet, but I previously bought a larger memory foam cushion, but it was way too big pushing me forward too much. I am hopeful this one will work out with its smaller size. I would surmise that your end-result level of success with this cushion will depend on your individual need and usage of it. I would reiterate that it is a very well-made product for the money and is sold by a good company.

To my surprise, it works!
My physical therapist recommended it. I was dubious. A smallish low back lumbar support with a tube that inflates and deflates it? It comes with a strap that buckles easily. It's designed perhaps for a car or an office chair, but I started using it in a very different way. I didn't like moving it from one chair to the next - I'm lazy. So, instead, I buckled the Lumbair to me! Like a fanny pack except on my lower back. Wherever I am sitting, I easily adjust the inflation of the support. I don't use it every time I sit, but it is often enough for it to be a big help.

Best Lumbar Support On The Market
This is it, no need to look further. I've tried other portable lumbar support pillows and memory foam options. This is the best option on the market in my opinion. Like many of you I found this company through Dr. Stuart McGill / Back Mechanic after realizing I needed to have my lumbar region supported at all times to allow my back to heal. I actually own a fancy $1,000 ergonomic desk chair and now place this $30 support over the backrest to provide the support and comfort I need. Don't make the mistake that I did, just buy a crappy office chair and use this support if you are dealing with back pain/ disc issues. This product is unique in that you can place this support anywhere on your spine and adjust it over the course of the day so that your back doesn't get as sore. Nothing else on the market has this level of adjustability and comfort. I knocked off one star because the little cap on the air pump fell off after one week of use so I've had to rig a temporary solution that still allows the product to function as intended. Although this product is Made in Canada rather than China, the quality is still not there. Still, at this price I'm a huge fan of this product and would recommend back pain sufferers give it a try.

Nice pillow for the car
I purchased this pillow as well as the $19 "Adjust-Air Portable Lumbar Support by Mediflow." Both pillows are similar, but overall I think this one provides better lumbar support. However, if you're concerned about having the external hose/bulb arrangement, you might be happier with the $19 version. I like this pillow best for the car. Once it's in place, having the external bulb makes it very easy to inflate/deflate even while driving. A downside is that it can catch on things if you're constantly moving it between the car and house/office. The $19 version is pretty much the same pillow, however the bulb and release valve are just sewn into the pillow underneath "+" and "-" symbols. Being self-contained, it's definitely easier to move around and take with you. However, it can be hard to reach the bulb to inflate, and you can also accidentally lean against the air release valve when you don't intend to. Overall, I'm happy with both pillows, but this version is probably slightly better. It'll give you a little better support in my opinion than the $19 version. I keep this one in the car, and carry around the self-contained pillow for the house and office.

Good support while it lasts, horrid customer service
My first pillow lasted a little less than 2 years before it started leaking air. I contacted Innotech Customer Service because they advertise a "lifetime air guarantee;" however, this is very misleading as it's only a replacement on the valve and not the tubing. Upon my first interaction with them, they claimed that my pillow was 4 years old, even though I provided my Amazon receipt, and they asked me to pay $20 for a replacement. I paid for it, but they sent it to the wrong address, and then they wouldn't send me one to the correct address. This company doesn't understand the value of a lifetime customer; they continued to send very rude and hostile emails. I've never been treated so poorly by a company where I've spent my money. Absolutely horrendous.

Works well to prevent low back pain
I use it every day to support my lower back and prevent low back pain. It’s been a game changer for me. The key however is to use it correctly and put it in the right position for your back (I personally put it on my sacrum/top of my butt crack per my physical therapist’s advice. It also will not work on every chair depending on the design. It’s also not meant for couches

Good adjustable pillow for car or travel
I used this pillow for 2.5 years until it finally died, and I'm going to buy another one. I used it in my car all the time, and on airplanes when I fly. The inflatable feature lets me adjust the support for whatever seat I happen to be in. It also helps on long trips to be able to change the inflation level. The support isn't perfect - I have to move it around and try different inflation levels, and at best it offers some relief but not complete relief for an L4-L5 herniation. (Try turning it vertical.) I have tried several other types of support for seats and this is the best. A good purchase, but the product has some faults. The check valve in the bulb failed after about a year, so I had to use a binder clip as a clamp on the hose to keep it from deflating. That worked OK until the rubber hose deteriorated at the connection to the pillow and now it's not fixable. There are more durable materials than natural rubber for the hose and bulb - it's disappointing that silicone wasn't used instead. Because it's rubber, avoid getting any oils, greases or lotions on the tubing. These can cause rapid deterioration.

Great, but lost air regularly
Purchased three of these. One works flawlessly. The other two constantly loses air - which is a pain to use. Customer service sent me a new pump and told me to cut the old one off and use a lighter to melt the plastic and attach the new one. Haven't tried yet.

Wonderful support for my back
This product is excellent. It relieves my back pain really well. I can also adjust it by pumping up the air, or letting the air out. It's also convenient because I can take it where I need it - in the car, on airplanes. Mostly I wear it while working at my desk. I feel I also sit up properly with it, which is good for my posture.

Works great!
The purchase experience was great and fast. The product has no flaws and is exactly as described. 4 stars because I think the product could be better. - The foam is strong enough that it holds shape even after kneeling etc to get all the air out so it can't pack down any smaller for carry-on. This is a minor inconvenience and it's better that the pillow does it's job than packs down. - it would be nice of the strap went through a sleeve allowing it to be removed completely. We just finished a vacation that had 4 flights (3 in economy) totaling about 36 hours in the air. These pillows performed perfectly for our lower back support. I would buy it again.

Good, but rubber cracks
This pillow didn't even last two years. The rubber hose started to get brittle and snap at the pump connection. I tried to cut off the ratty end, and it would work for another week, then the rubber would crumble again. But during the time it did work great...now I can't keep the air in due to the cracks in the hose.
