UPDATE: I was wrong, CABLE WORKS FINE!!
I believe my monitor is the problem and not this 35ft VGA cable. CABLE IS FINE. When I tried the same 15ft cable that previously resulted in a normal screen, it now also results in a green screen. Little chance both cables are bad. My monitor must have a faulty connection internally that produces intermittent issues when the port is jostled. It was just a coincidence that it worked fine when testing another cable, which led me to believe this 35ft cable was the problem.Sorry, I hope that my misdiagnosis has not steered anyone away from this product. The folks at Cable Matters were quick to respond to my initial review and send out a replacement 35ft cable, which I will be returning along with an apology. Even though the issue was no fault of their own, they were very helpful and I look forward to using them for any cable needs in the future. THANK YOU CABLE MATTERS!!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I bought the 35ft version of this cable two weeks ago. Took it out of the box and tested it, the picture looked normal. It worked for about a week and then everything went green. I’ve had the 15ft version of this cable for two years and had no problems. I disconnected the 35ft cable and tried my older 15ft cable and the picture is just fine, which points to a problem with the new 35ft cable. See pictures taken of monitor with good 15ft cable then bad 35ft cable attached. Maybe it was just a bad apple in the batch, but after all the time I spent organizing the long cable run in my setup, now I have to undo it and redo it with another, hopefully better cable. Turning…green…you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry. WHAT A PAIN!!!

Good cable, short audio
The cable works great. Good length, quality seems good. The audio cable is a little short. If you by chance have a laptop that has full keyboard and number pad, and the VGA port is on the opposite side of the headphone port, it has a tendency to be a little short.

Very good quality cable
The cable is well-insulated, not excessively stiff, and the image quality is very good for VGA. The audio goes through perfectly and is long enough to connect to most ports as long as it is on the same side as the VGA port. Fit and screwed into a computer and TV without any trouble.

Completely Fixed A Nagging Noise Problem On A CNC Router
I bought one of these to solve a nagging problem with a CNC router. Whenever the Huanyang VFD was running to drive the 2.2 KW spindle motor, the VGA monitor image would flicker and disappear. I had already swapped one cheap VGA cable for another without any luck. I verified that the electromagnetic interference was radiated (through the air, like an antenna) and not conducted on the power line. I tried adding ferrite beads at the ends of the existing VGA cable but it didn't help. Swapping to this Cable Matters VGA cable completely fixed the radiated noise problem. This cable has the ferrite beads at the ends, but the cable itself is also a larger diameter. Apparently, the copper conductors may be a larger gauge, and there are two layers of shielding. Whatever magic is in these cables works. The build quality is very good as well. I bought five more of these cables to replace the VGA cables I had already purchased for other CNC machines I'm building. The cables I had previously bought are now marked "NOT FOR CNC USE". If you're looking for a very high quality VGA cable at a very reasonable price, this one is "Winner, winner, chicken dinner!" The built-in audio cable is a bonus.

Male-Female VGA Connections will NOT seat properly
PROS: This Cable Matters VGA Cord with 3.5mm Audio Jacks is a good value for the Price. Make sure ALL of the Connection ends NEVER touch any surface to extend it's overall life. CONS: NO Plastic Covers for any of the Connections. Also, the VGA Connection ends are made from a low quality plastic; which is not very durable and means the expected lifetime is not very long. The most problematic issue is with the VGA Thumb Screws; which are in my opinion sub par for any VGA Connection. This is the first time I took multiple attempts to turn both Thumb screws the same amount in effort to seat VGA Male to Female Connections. I found it impossible to accomplish, so don't waste your time trying to do so. I prefer my Belkin VGA Cord with LG Rubber Connection Ends & Thumb screw Tips, but the one I have does not have the Audio Jacks. Overall the Low Cost makes purchasing this VGA Cord with 3.5mm Audio Jacks a decent Investment.

No more crushed audio cables!
For conference rooms that are equipped with both audio and VGA, this combo 3.5 mm and VGA cable works wonders. I tried to use standard VGA cables and a separate audio cable in a conference room at work, but cables would always end up under people's chairs and rolled over so many times the audio cable would stop functioning. The VGA cables are thick enough they seemed to keep working, but I had enough and bought this cable and mounted it under a conference room table with this J-Hook: Tornado 00515 J-HookSo far it's been running great! It's been used on multiple computers types and plugged in and removed many times and no issues. The cable feels like it will last a long time before it needs replacing. I would recommend it!

Exactly What It Says
This cable works just like it is supposed to. I use it to watch movies on a TV from a laptop PC and play video games on a 40" TV instead of just a laptop. Works so well, I bought another as a gift for a friend who saw it and was impressed with the picture and sound quality. BTW, her's works just as well. Highly recommend.
