Zoo Med Repti Turtle Eye Drops 2.25 fl. Oz

So, I genuinely thought our Red Earred Slider was gone. It was sitting at the bottom of the tank the night before and then the next day it was floating around lifeless. Generally, any time I walk up to the tank it feverishly swims to me super excited. I also noticed it hadn’t eaten its food the night before. Once we took him out the tank, he started moving and I noticed his eyes were swollen shut. We immediately went into research mode and started a warm carrot bath. The next day, they were still shut so we moved to Plan B. Day 3 of no eating and eyes shut, we started the drops, Day 4- (day 2 of drops) and he opened his eyes slightly and started eating again- but his eyes still looked bad; Day 5- (day 3 of drops) and his eyes are back to normal and his activity level is back to normal! He’s running up to meet me at the glass. I shared this timeline because I read a blog that said after day 3 of eyes being swollen the turtle will be blind- that’s not true….definitely an inexpensive fix and we’re grateful.

This is my favorite calcium for my iguana it doesn't smell bad it does not cause skin irritation I have no safety concerns I can tell my iguana likes the taste because he never has mind it I have been using this for years now and I absolutely love it the texture is perfect and no it is not suitable for dogs this is for reptiles only

Seems to work well. I suggest you be careful when you are using any simular product that you are not over using it.

THIS THING IS HUGE. I MEAN HUGE. I NEVER THOUGHT 8 OUNCES WAS THAT BIG. so now I have so much calcium for my beardie I will NEVER RUN OUT. My female beardie loves this and she approves this message. Super easy to use! Not safe for dogs, idk why Amazon wants me to write about that.... the smell?? It smells like calcium what else? My bearded dragon loves the taste and its super easy for her to eat. As far as vitamin content, seems pretty good, theres no D3 in this one which is what I hoped for (that there wasnt) as I think my beardie was getting TOO much d3 with the other brand. Great!

My beardie loves her bugs tossed in this calcium mix. No smell, effective at delivering enough calcium to my girl. Downside is that it gets EVERYWHERE. As soon as you open the inner seal, powder goes everywhere! Get a spoonful to put in a tiny cup, still see specks everywhere for days after cleanup.

it is a very decent size container and comes with a scooper. would buy again.

Stuff works, thought my young eastern box turtle was blind, but gave it a drop of this on one eye and sure enough...the very next day it peeked out of its hideout and had its right eye open again! Thought it was blind since the previous owner claimed it was blind since birth, but my research led me to believe it was a Vitamin A deficiency...so I ordered this and gave it a shot! Beyond happy with the value for money, ease of use and size of this bottle! Here is a photo of After! I did not have a photo of before because it was always hiding!

My tortoise got better 1 week after using the drops, I highly recommend it.

Utilizzo Zoo Med Repti Calcium senza D3 da tempo come integratore di calcio per rettili e anfibi, e lo considero un prodotto base indispensabile nella gestione corretta degli animali. La polvere è molto fine, si distribuisce bene sugli insetti o sugli alimenti vegetali e aderisce senza creare grumi. Questo rende il dosaggio semplice e uniforme, evitando sprechi e sovradosaggi localizzati. Il formato da 85 g è pratico e dura parecchio, anche con più animali. La scelta senza vitamina D3 è, a mio avviso, un grande punto a favore: permette di integrare il calcio in modo controllato quando si utilizzano correttamente lampade UVB adeguate, evitando il rischio di eccessi di D3 che nel tempo possono creare problemi. È quindi ideale per chi segue un approccio corretto e consapevole all’allevamento. L’ho usato con rettili e anfibi senza riscontrare rifiuti del cibo o reazioni anomale. È un prodotto neutro, affidabile e coerente con le esigenze fisiologiche degli animali se inserito in una gestione completa (UVB, dieta varia, temperature corrette). In conclusione, è un integratore di calcio di alta qualità, semplice ma fatto bene, adatto sia a chi inizia sia a chi alleva da anni. Un classico che non delude e che consiglio senza riserve.
