Works as designed for our spicy Frenchie, he doesn’t require it often but it stays on well and allows him room to breathe and is to give him small treats. Can’t complain!

Apr 22, 2025 8:24 AMI bought this muzzle (medium) for my one year old frenchie and it fits perfectly. She’s a little smaller (22lbs) so I wasn’t sure if the medium would be too big but it’s a great fit, she can breathe and do her thing in it with no issues other than hating it because she can’t bite our toes. It has an unexpected side effect of making her very docile and calm so it’s a win in my book! Highly recommend if you have a trouble baby who likes to nibble on the toes of humans and other dogs like ours does.

The media could not be loaded. I wish it fit better. I have an old English bulldog, and it just didn’t seem to stay on his head correctly. I tried adjusting the straps and it would work for a little while, but then it would get loose. I gave it three stars because if your dog doesn’t have as big of a head as mine, I could see it working.

I have two 20lbs Boston Terriers who measured 11.5 inches and the other was 12 inches circumference behind their ears and lower jaw; I ordered Mediums for both incase the Small would be too small.Cons: Mediums ended up being too large to where I had to trim about half the strap off because there was too much extra left; I had to tighten almost all the way for them to fit. They also can still get their little tongues through the nose hole, if you want restrictions on that, buy smaller size or a muzzle with very small or no mouth/nose opening.Pros: They look super cute and funny in them. It does a decent job getting the dog out of trouble for the most part; bought to keep both my dogs nose/mouths out of what they shouldn’t eat or to limit rough horseplaying. This has also helped with my reactive Boston Terrier from initiating play by nipping.

I have a boxer with a short snout and can't wear a regular muzzle. I got this to try and keep him from licking medicine while I put it in his eye. His tongue went right through the center. The harness itself seemed to fit okay when I put it on but he easily pulled it off within the first 30 seconds. May be better for a smaller breed.

This muzzle is perfect for Frenchies. It will also double as a Hannibal Lechter mask for Halloween. I think my Fenchie, Axl, thinks it’s a sleeping mask because right after I put it on, he lays down and is snoring in 5 minutes. I’m on hospice and have an attendant and this muzzle helps her feel safe because Axl can be very protective of me. I would definitely recommend this to all frenchie owners
