Cool Card
This review is for Santoro PS044 Butterfly and Dragonfly Pop Up Card.I have gotten Love Pops cards for the significant other multiple times. While Love Pops are very nice, I found that other manufacturers are in the same field, and I wanted something more whimsical than Love Pops for the significant other's birthday. This card completely fit the bill. This card pops up with a slide mechanism around the periphery, which is really neat. The slide kind of snapped into position to keep the card locked up. The card does have a spot for a brief message, though very short messages can be added elsewhere on the card.Once open, the card has three-dimensional butterflies and dragonflies, along with an array of flowers. The base is rounded rather than flat, but the bottom is flat so the opened card remains stable. The only complaint the significant other had with the card, which she loved, was the price. Well, she is worth the price, I think! Our assessment of value compared to other competitive cards is average to above average. There are more expensive cards, and this card is complex and has a lot of detail for the value. Our overall rating is five stars. Okay, MY rating is five stars. The significant other thought I spent too much money (if only she knew how much some of the cards I have purchased for her in the past cost, she would stop complaining). I think for people looking for something kind of whimsical and different, this card is perfect.Enjoy!

Lovely gift; Very appreciated by recipients
This card is lovely, and the person I gave it to was thrilled. It is easy to put together and pop up and have a very pretty object to remind them that you were thoughtful and caring. It's a great improvement on flat gift cards. Looks expensive. I like giving these kinds of cards (and like receiving them).

Feedback from the giftee: great!
Really ingenious way this all comes together so the clouds form a base and the planes are seen as coming out of them. It was a birthday card and the recipient really loved it. They actually have it on display at their house.

Amazing card!
I've bought a lot of pop-up cards from different vendors and this one is totally different than all the rest, this card is amazing and beautiful and perfect! I can't wait to give it to my son at his retirement party, I know he will love it. Thank you so much!

Impressive
Got this for my husband for a "milestone" birthday during the pandemic. He has traveled extensively for work, and I was often able to accompany him. Those opportunities are gone for now and this was a good way to bring up memories of previous travel, as well as to reassure ourselves that those times WILL come again. The card was easy to open (we haven't tried closing it again yet...still have it on display) and is very impressive.

More beautiful than expected
Loved the simple instructions, follow those through and you'll have no issues. Was such a wonderful gift to gift, receiver was very pleased. Wish it was a little more bottom heavy, just so it'd have more weight to it and maybe not slide off table so easily.

BEAUTIFUL card!
Beautiful card and instructions are easy to understand in order to put the card together. It was packaged perfectly to ensure the card wasn't bent or folded upon arrival! It came late, but worked out okay...My daughter LOVED the card!

3 Cards purchased and reviewed here
NOTE: I purchased 3 cards and am reviewing all three cards here with pictures included for your reference.Review #1 ~ Pirouettes Fairground CardI purchased a different pop up card for my wife (for Valentine’s Day) but wanted to get special cards for my daughters and mother-in-law, too. So, for my 5-year-old daughter, I thought the Pirouettes Fairground Card was a good choice. As expected, this card did not quite capture her imagination as much as I had hoped, but that is not really the fault of the card. The card opened nicely on the first try and looked really cool to the 47-year-old man who had purchased it, haha. My daughter on the other hand, thought it was cool for about three minutes and then went back to doing something else. Frankly, I think this card might have been a better choice for a child who was a bit older, but since I was getting pop up cards for my wife, my mother-in-law, and my 8-year-old daughter, I didn’t want my 5-year-old to feel left out. All in all, I have no real complaints with the card and thought that under the circumstances, it was perfect for the occasion and I do recommend it. I will say that after a few times of opening and closing it, the opening became a bit more difficult and the card parts didn't separate as evenly as they did the first time it was opened. Granted, I would imagine that the makers of the card didn't intend for it to be opened and closed too often - they probably expected it to be opened and closed 2-3 times max and then either displayed somewhere for a while or thrown away quickly.Anyway, my biggest advice with this card is that as much as possible, know your audience and adjust your expectations accordingly :-)4/5 stars, for the Pirouettes Fairground CardReview #2 ~ Pirouettes Travel the World CardMy 8-year-old daughter likes to travel and in fact, has a large canvas print of the Eifel Tower displayed in her room as well as a very large canvas print of a map of the world, too. So, this card choice was a no brainer for me for Valentine’s Day for her. In fact, of the group, I think it was the easiest one to pick out, quite frankly. As expected, my 8-year-old daughter LOVED it and has kept it on the nightstand next to bed ever since she received it. She had no problems opening it and from what I can tell, she probably only opened once or twice and then just left it open. I say that because it appears to me to be fairly symmetrical still with everything opened up right now. I’m extremely pleased with this choice and my daughter is, too.5/5 stars, for the Pirouettes Travel the World CardReview #3 ~ Pirouettes PS047 Hummingbirds CardMy mother-in-law likes to garden, and we have hummingbirds that come around and visit our house regularly. So, this card seemed like a good choice for Valentine’s Day for her, because she lives with us and I didn’t want her to feel left out. When I asked her if I could borrow it long enough to take pictures, she gave it to me in the envelope, so it wasn’t open anymore. That was fine, that meant I had the chance to open it up for myself and see how it went. It went fairly smoothly, but not as symmetrical as I would have liked. Granted, I’m not sure how many times it was opened and closed before I got to it, which could be a factor. Regardless, and as you can see in the pictures, it still looks rather nice opened up and I’m still quite pleased with the purchase, all things considered, which is to say, it was for my Mother-in-Law, so yeah . . . there’s that, haha.5/5 stars, Pirouettes PS047 Hummingbirds CardOne more note for the Pirouettes PS047 Hummingbirds card: I asked my wife to model the card and open it up for a video, which I also included with this review. The video is not perfect, but we did the best we could to demonstrate what it’s like to open the card and how it looks after opening. I hope you find that useful for deciding on whether to purchase one of these cards. Personally, I think these cards are cool and was glad to get them for all the ladies in my life because they are different in a positive way. Granted, only my 8-year-old seemed to LOVE her card, but I’m okay with that because it was pretty much what I expected any way and it was no fault of the cards.
