Micromax CG666 (White-Grey)

Average Phone :Bought it for my dad and writing the review after month of use . I needed to replace my first phone (same model) because of faulty speakers , thanks to awesome amazon's service i got it replaced in 3 days (5 star to amazon's service) . Now . coming to the performance of this device .Pros -- Supports both GSM and CDMA(we are using MTS ) SIM .- Supports , video, mp3 and image storage . Also supports micro SD card storage .- Bluetooth working quite well .- Also , allows web browsing . I taught my dad to check emails on that . So , very useful for him .- Quite handy , not bulkier or very small and it looks good .Cons -- The quality of speakers is not good . I needed to replace my first phone for the same reason and the replacement product was also not that good .- For a basic phone with 1700 mAh battery , i was hoping to work it for atleast 2 days for basic use . But , it doesn't give more than 24 hours after full charge .- 0.3 MP camera is provided ,but its only for show off . The quality is so POOR that it can't differentiate between a cat and dog's picture .Overall , Average phone . Good at this price . I would suggest to go for it only when you need GSM + CDMA combination phone . Otherwise there are many good options at this price range .

I'm.using cg666 with tata indica cdma. I was using Zen m81 which is totally worst phone, I used. It fail to catch network. I cannot complete calls.Anyway cg666 I experienced for two months..it looks nice n small compared to others even the screen size same. It have good battery life. I got 6 more days for normal usage.feels fast compared to Zen m81. Call clarity and network catching is more better.Call button and menu button is integrated so that difficult to operate. U cannot transfer contacts through Bluetooth. Ringing volume is very low, difficult to hear on noisy surroundings.I fail to use mp3 as ring tone .I purchased@1399, value for money

Special characters can be typed in new message, cannot be typed or edited in all SMS screens. Emails not replied. Buyer needs to phone. Internet settings, Opera Mini cannot be loaded. SMS cursor too thin & white, can be seen when SMS screen seen from 5-10 degree angle. SMS screen should have been navy blue. Cursor blinking slow, makes SMS typing slow. They should intimate, how to re-send SMS without typing the numbers again. Service center contact details intimated by them are invalid. They do not attend 1860 phone number. Battery charging fails after 9 months. Blue tooth files cannot be sent to it, phone version too old. It can hold 10 outgoing SMS. CDMA service stopped. CDMA feature useless. Several features incomplete. Seller should replace the phone within 12 months warranty period.

There has wrong information about the phone internal memory. Company says there is 256 MB internal memory as ROM. But when search memory status, it's show only 13.45 MB for used. Even when I call Micromax customer care to know briefly about it, they also unable to provide me the right and proper information.Otherwise the phone is good and simple, only for calling and listen mp3 and FM.Thank you.

I am giving feedback after 4.5 years , battery life, sound quality and value for money.

I am using this phone from past 3 months for MTS network:I could say its one of the best CDMA devices available right now in the market.Pros:1.Display looks good2.Earpiece and mic does its job3.No network issuesCons:1. Build feels cheep2. Poor software interface3. No option to change ringtone4. Loudspeaker is too mild

Good mobile phone , I have purchased this product last month . When I opend the box, I have found that charger was not working .Then I went to micromax local siliguri service centre they are replaced my charger. I am happy with this phone and battery backup is awesome .CDMA AND GSM BOTH SIM WORKING VERY GOOD .

Received a Micromax phone CG666 on 21/6/2017 . Today I tried to make call through head phones supplied with the phone but found it to be defective . You are requested to kindly change the same as it is under warranty.
