100% better than the sliding short cup.
We tried the other sliding short protectors but my son hated to wear them. The cup flopped everywhere no matter what size we bought. The one we got was a large and he is a slim 70 lbs. The cup was too big but since we have bought several of the others types we had a smaller cup to put in. He puts the sliding shorts on over the jock strap. I would recommend this.

maybe get a size larger?
i don't know if i got the wrong size or if it shrank from being used but mine was too small and tight.

Easy to wear under equipment for lacrosse
Ended up returning it. Fit small. Son didn’t like it. But I think the quality and everything else was fine. It was just his preference easy to wear under clothes which is what we were hoping for for lacrosse.
