Great all-weather socks - Breathable for summer and warm for winter.
I most often use wool blend socks in the winter since my feet get cold. These Merino wool socks are not the thickest socks I have, but they are comfortable and wash well with no shrinkage. They actually get softer after washing. These socks are warm enough for winter, but they also work well for warmer weather since they aren't thick and breath. The seam is over the top of the toes, which is usually not noticed. Sometimes the areas at the end of the seam can be a bit thicker and uncomfortable, but for the most part it's fine. Overall, I am happy with these socks, but sometimes use some of the thicker blends for winter. UPDATE 04/23/26: So far, I have ordered sets of these socks 4 times in different colors, and I love them. I also like that these socks don't have lines in the knit. They are just smooth with no lines. So much more comfortable than cotton blend socks, and wash and dry well with no shrinkage or pilling. I will likely be ordering more colors in these socks since they are my favorite of the socks I have purchased. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Best socks ever.
These are the best socks. So warm and cozy and breathable. I've washed several times, no special treatment, they are holding up great, no pilling. They are the real deal, actual merino wool. My feet are so happy. Can you make me a hoodie or sweater in the same material?

Love these socks
Love these socks. They’re not thick and not thin but just perfect! Soft and wash beautifully on delicate and lay flat to dry. I wore these in my 300g insulation snow boots in Lapland Finland earlier this month and they were perfection with a thermal insole. Worth noting I have thick calves and they’re not super tight also don’t fall down. Would buy again, would reco.

Good socks
Took these on a trip to Iceland and they were super comfy, kept my feet dry and warm. Wore them with hiking boots and they got destroyed a little with pilling unfortunately. Would love to buy more but they don’t seem to be the highest quality on durability.

Bought another pack of 3
I needed thin to medium warm black socks that would cover my ankles and stay in place to wear with my black sports shoes. These are perfect for my needs. I followed instructions and hand-washed them all before wearing but found that they do great in the washer and dryer, actually since they fit size 6 to 10 and are pretty stretchy I put 2 pairs in the dryer on purpose so they would shrink a bit to fit my size 7 1/2 feet. They came out a touch shorter compare to the pair I air dried, so I now dry them in the dryer all the time. They are thin but not dress socks thin, rather medium, not thick like winter socks for boots, when I wear them to walk around the house they are plenty warm, the wool felt a bit scratchy to my hand when I got them but feel nice and soft on my feet and they do not itch. I bought a 3 pack and was so pleased with them that I bought a second 3 pack to have enough for an entire week.

Repeat buyer, favorite socks, durable AND easy to mend
I’ve now got a drawer full of these and hope to have them for the rest of my life. They are so nice; they’re wool without being bulky, and regulate temp like no other sock on the market. They’re also good if you need a liner sock under a thicker winter sock, but that’s also not necessary. They will keep you warm in winter, and cool on all but the hottest summer days. My oldest ones are now almost three years old, and one pair has finally worn a hole on one toe, and a thin spot on the other heel. And they darn perfectly. I use a speed-weve type darning loom, the small size, and Bella Lusso embroidery yarn because it’s very delicate, comes in matching colors, and is appropriate for these socks. The patch is a ten minute task, creates a nice bit of weaving, it doesn’t rub or cause chafing and they’re good to go. But it also took three years, probably 50 wears and washes, to develop a hole at all. Whatever Lixia is doing, they’re doing it right. And a PS: When I had one that no longer had a mate, I did a burn test on the solo. These ARE wool. They self-extinguish, smell like burning hair/feathers, leave a dark, gritty ash with a few small, hard balls (that’s the small polyester content).

Perfect Snowboarding/Skiing Socks
After a recommendation from someone at my local ski shop to wear very thin wool socks to keep my feet warmer, I came across this affordable 6 pack. Can I just say, HOLY COW! I've always had problems with cold feet and my toes going numb while snowboarding. Not anymore though! I never understood why I experienced this since I would buy good quality & thick wool socks that were perfectly warm when I wasn't wearing a tight boot. THE GOOD STUFF: - the thin sock allows room for air to flow between the foot/sock and the boot. - this trapped air keeps your feet and toes nice and toasty ALL DAY LONG! - I no longer have trouble squeezing my foot into my boot, because the thin sock leaves a little bit more room. - I now use these around the house too, not just for snowboarding. They're great everyday socks for the winter! - the 6 pair pack is perfect for a ski trip, without having to worry about washing your socks while you're away. THE BAD STUFF: - When worn alone around the house, with no shoes or slippers, my feet feel a little cold. This is when I'd opt to wear a nice thick pair of socks instead. But, just put on a pair of slippers and your feet will be back to a nice and toasty temperature! - I wish there were more color options to choose from. I'm a fan of fun, patterned socks!

Pill even when washed on gentle and line dried
These socks look great when you take them out to the package. They feel soft and do keep you warmer than "regular" socks. However, they pill! So after one washing, (gentle, cold water) and hanging the to dry (no dryer) they look old! This is the second time I have bought them. I thought maybe I was not careful with them the first time so they pilled, but no, after one washing they look old. Will have to find another brand.

Beautiful Fine Wool Socks
I am a wool lover and these are such wonderful socks with the right amount of elastic in them to keep them from slipping while maximizing the fine wool content and breathability!

NOT wool
Not 87% wool as stated, i would say no wool at all, definitely not worth the price, falsely advertised, amazon refunded
