E-Z Trigonometry (Barron's Easy Way)

My son learned a lot from this book and he passed his classes

I like the books that offer the narrative with the story. It makes it more interesting but I do at times have to look things up. If you have not had a lot of algebra or need a review, you should get it before reading this though.

The book is good at giving formulas and an explanation of where the formula came from, but it does not include enough examples of working the problems. It is especially hard to figure out multi-step problems that build initially on the chapter concept. The answers are included in the back of the book, which is a nice feature, but I did find myself helping my teenager by working backwards from the answer to explain to her how the problem works.

I'm old, and decided to get my math skills creaking again. So I got a copy of this book. It's a rather entertaining book, but it takes forever to get to the point. Were I taking a math course, having trouble, and hoped for this book to bail me out, I should have a problem. But it's very entertaining. But not if you're in a hurry. Jerry O'DEll

The instructions were easy to follow.

Very easy to understand and follow. I finished it in two months. Would recommend this to kindergartens if all of the intended mistakes were removed.

I purchased the E-Z Geometry book, and LOVED it. This book, however, uses a confusing story with characters to try to teach the concepts of Trigonometry. The story and characters, in my opinion, hinder the learning process. I wish this book would've used the approach used in the Geometry book. I do not recommend this resource, unless you've used other Barron's books with this approach.

Bought a bunch of these to review for an exam to become a math teacher. Very helpful.
