Transformers: Robots in Disguise Box Set

A great read here and all the books are available so you can start and finish.

First off, this isn't going to be a review of the series itself. If you want that, there are plenty of reviews of the 5 individual volumes out there. This is about this box set. I guess I was expecting something more like an omnibus, but this is literally all of the 5 individual paperback volumes in a cardboard outer box. It's a nice, sturdy cardboard outer box, though, and the wrap around is basically the one you see in the product description, except that the black top where "TRANSFORMERS" is written is on the bottom, and it's white with red lettering.If you don't have any of the books, then this is a great way to caught up, and it comes in a nice collector style box. The price right now right around what you would pay for new copies individually with out the collector box, but since I actually pre-ordered it a while ago, it ended up being a LOT less (around $12 a volume). I will admit that if I had know I would be getting the books I already have, just repackaged, I'm not sure I would have sprung for it (I probably won't remove it from the plastic wrap, unless the copies I currently have get damaged, and need to be replaced), but I'm not unhappy that I bought it either. Good set, just may not be worth it if you already have the first 5 volumes.5 star for the set in general, but 3 if you have all of them already, rounded to a solid 4.
