When "New & Improved" actually is an improvement
This is my 3rd purchase of the Med/Med nickel-silver fret wire.I was asked to do a fret job on a 1980's era Martin acoustic.I figured I'd go with the recommended fret wire from StewMac.More expensive, but hell, it's an old Martin, let's go first class.Turns out the last fret job was done a little too aggressively and the fret slots were a bit too wide now.I could have made it work with enough super glue, but that defeats the purpose of using the more expensive wire.I had a package of the C. B. Gitty wire I was saving for one of my guitars &in the interest of time decided to use what I had in stock.Even having to deal with a bound neck they worded perfectly. The height, width & tang were spot on.The customer was really happy with the job & how fast I got the guitar back to him. Here comes the "New & Improved" part.I ordered another pack for whenever I get around to refretting my gigging guitar. They now come with a light radius! The radius is just the right amount to be considered "universal".Not a BIG time saver, but a time saver none the less.It actually is an improvement.Great product, fast delivery, easy to work with & a great price.

How to go wrong with stainless steel frets

Fret wire
Fairly simple to install being my first time doing it. Good height, but just a little bit narrow on top compared to the original frets.

Purchased for a friend
Purchased a three string guitar kit for a friend that did not include frets. Purchased the frets and a fret saw and he said they were a breeze to install. They look good and work very well on the neck of his guitar.

If you’re building a CBG, this is the fretwire you want
If you’re building a cigar box guitar, this is the fretwire that you want. There’s a lot of cheap fretwire on Amazon, but usually it’s curves for a neck with a radius and is cut into 24 pieces. There’s a lot of waste and and the curved frets can be challenging to put onto a flat fingerboard. You can get at least two necks worth of frets out of this quantity. It is easy to work with and looks nice. Worth the slightly higher price than the cheap stuff.

Good regular fret wire
I ended up finding some harder wire for my project but this wire appears to be a good standard nickel silver quality.

Great
You AMAZON employees are literally superhuman and nearly every person in the civilized world is aware of this. I initially was going to "lightly" complain about this particular order being unusually late. But while beginning to write, it occured to me that whatever reason that caused my fret wires to be late, is absolutley, in no way the fault of my deliverers. So, instead of a pointless negative comment about your service or conduct, I'd much rather thank all of the AMAZON employees for literally keeping the world turning in these crazy times. Thank You so much! You do the people a great service.
