Adafruit Flex Cable for Raspberry Pi Camera - 24" / 610mm

I was initially turned off by the non-prime shipping but it arrived very promptly a few days later. It was a perfect length to mount my octopi server under the printer and route the cable up to the camera near the print bed.What is extraordinary, is one day before I arrived home from work the roomba decided to get adventurous and broke into the room where my 3d printer is. It somehow snagged the power cable for the pi, drug it under the roller, and in the process pulled down the pi itself, and then twisted and wound up the camera cable around the rollers in a fascistic fashion. Then it drug everything back to the dock.I arrived home not too long after, hung my coat, put down my keys, went to empty the roomba and shake off its rollers to find this raspberry pi murder scene.Surprisingly everything still worked perfectly fine. 10/10 durability.

this cable is pretty much identical to the really short one that came with the camera. the one meter cable lets me hook up the camera so i can actually work with it. i have mounted the camera on a tripod, connected to the one meter cable, and then connected to the Pi module. there is no interference of any kind with the longer cable, but your mileage may vary. there is nothing in my setup that could generate much interference, but your setup might be different, so be advised this might be an issue.

The cable that comes with the Raspberry Pi camera is shorter than I needed. This is actually longer than I need, but it works. One thing I didn't realize was that the socket on the Raspberry Pi 3B+ has a lift-up clamp that then needs to be pushed back down to lock the cable in place. (This was simply my ignorance (caused by an omission in documentation for the board, and not anything to do with the cable.)

I thought about ordering this type of cable from other sellers, but decided to stick with a known dealer. I have my Raspberry Pi sitting on a homemade stand above my 3D printer and this cable was just long enough.

Does the job, it is pretty long, and very good quality. I use it for the touchscreen, and this cable is much faster and better quality than the stock one. It is pretty expensive, but it is a guaranteed good-quality product. It is pretty long, so if you are planning on mounting the raspberry pi to the touchscreen like me, a PHD in cable managing would be good.

It's pretty durable and has decent length. Additionally, it's plug and play and should work immediately. With that said, mine arrived and didn't input anything to my rpi when plugged everything in.

Works as an extension replacement for the cable that comes with the Pi Camera. Absolutely no issues.

Works as intended. Plenty of length to mount onto an Ender 3 V2.

Have tested this with the cameras that arrived just the other day.Works like a treat just need to work out a decent print to protect the cable while the printer is in use.

It is just the cable, picture is misleading. Cable itself was all I needed anyway

Great photos. Needs the this longer flex to have ability to move camera to have an acceptable positioning.
