SKWAudiophiles High Gauge AUX Cable 3.5mm Male to Male Jack Cable with Diameter 6.8mm Stereo Audio Cable 4.9ft(1.5m)

Previously, I bought two different lower quality cable brands, thinking audio is just audio and cable is just cable. But there IS a difference, these other cables were found to either be defective or of lower performance. I had many issues with my PC and home theater audio system, including audio crackling and stuttering. My devices audio issues unknowingly prompt me even to unnecessary replacement of audio devices and or parts. All to find that the cables were the culprit of it all. After learning through trial and error, I replaced both my home theater audio cables and my PC audio cables with several types of SKW cables. The quality and performance is very good. No more issues with stuttering sounds or crackling audio. I am sure there are many more cable brands out there which are probably better. But for the money, performance and quality, this brand products are just right. I saved A LOT and also got my issues fixed which is what I was looking for in a cable. (so far, all my devices including 2 PCs 2 audio systems and even on my tvs work flawless)

A little expensive but well worth it.

I have bought and owned almost all of the SKW BG line, XLR cable, a couple sets of speaker cables, Toslink, Power cable, and these. These look amazing. Unfortunately that was about it. I was only using these for a trigger cable and only got this wire for the aesthetics to complete the look of my setup. When I was rearranging my living room I had to disconnect my entire setup. While I was unplugging these from my sub, they ping stayed in the sub and the rest came off. It was a tight fit but I didn't think I applied too much force but it did break on me. Typically I give glowing reviews for all the other SKW cables I have bought, but for this one I can not recommend.

Wow. I mean... Wow. I have a great sound system in my car and I prefer to listen to prime music so I use an aux cable. It's typical for me to have to replace it once or twice a year and I just go grab whatever is in the nearest store. Last time I noticed a ridiculously huge difference in both sound level and quality. I had to turn the volume up to 24 vs my usual 16 and the bass wasn't there like it should be. I did a ton of research, ordered 3 cables (this, emk, and a monster) and this one blows the others away. I did like the 90 degree bend that one of the other cables has so I ordered a 90 degree adapter (look for the one that's a gold square with a silver jack) that should be here soon. I'm going to need it because as the other reviewers have stated, this cable is substantial! It is 1/4" at the ends and does not bend easily, either. I had to take a dremel and make a deep U in my phone case so that it would fit but that only took a few minutes and it's worth going to that effort to still have my phone protected and my music quality as it should be. I'm hoping this one lasts longer longer than a year.

I’ve been using a “basic” auxiliary cord to connect an old smartphone (serving as the music source) to the stereo in my massage room for years. This cord makes a noticeable difference in the clarity of the music!

One cut above the generic cables between $5-15. Yes there's more details, impact, agile bass and better soundstage. Overall construction and materials good to excellent. Most notable is the smooth treble and overall lack of annoying vices everywhere. Much cheaper than audioquest or Kimber or cardras. But I have no answer to the question if it is comparable to the hyperfi cables that costs more than a car. I bought a second one after I enjoyed the music more with the first. Only shortcoming is the stiffness that makes head movement wearing headphones caused the phone to slide.

Really happy with the sound quality and durability

This cable is crazy thick and rugged. The outside diameter of the cable itself is a bit over 1/4". That is huge and makes this nearly impossible to kink.It reminds me of very high-quality RCA cables, and if you did not know it was a 3.5mm (1/8") male audio connector at each end, you'd think it was an RCA or almost a 1/4" phono plug. It has a very high-tech look, and nice polish on the connector housings. The actual connector is plated in gold of course.When I am using a regular aux cable in my car, I would get a whine from RF interference from some electronic components of the car. This is the first cable that is shielded enough to block that interference (no more whine - just clear audio).So, it just comes down to price. You can get a basic aux cable for $5. This one is a lot more. However, the quality matches the price. It's 4x bigger and beefier in every way.Please note: If you have a case on your phone or iPad that has a rather small hole left for the housing of the connector, this will not work for you. The ends of this cable are very thick. They will not work if the case causes your audio port to be recessed.

I used to have an Audioquest Evergreen cable that broke inside the 3.5mm connector. I didn't wanted to buy the same thing in case the issue reappear with the new cable so I tried this SKW since the reviews were good but I was septicle because of the low price but I had nothing to lose so I ordered it. And am I happy I did? Oh yes. This cable is quite thick so it is mostly designer for static usage. I'm using it on my Audio Technica ATH-MSR7GM and the sound is awesome. At this price, nothing, litterally nothing beats his performance. I seriously think I'm going to buy another one as a spare. Great choice, try it and you won't be disappointed.

This thing will not break unless you run over it....maybe not even then. The durability is a must and it has higher higher quality sound over my other audio cable. It's like having an XLR in 3.5mm format for great balance. Currently using it as a headphone cable to my mixer

These were the last upgrade my stream set up needed.I have a dual pc set up for streaming with a goxlr and these are perfect. I was previous using run of the mill, cheap 3.5mm cables that needed a ground loop isolater. Otherwise my stream would have a horrible buzz.These are not only durable (warning: not ideal for headphones. They are very stiff. More for behind the scenes wiring.) the sound quality blew me away. My microphone sounds so much clearer. My music is more crisp on the high end.Highly recommend these if you're looking to do a bit of future proofing on your audio set up.Will be buying more to stock up.

Great quality and built very durable. Noticeable sound improvement over lesser cables. If you have a nice pair of head phones connected to a pre amp or connecting a record player to a powered set of speakers, these are the perfect addition.I am currently using this cable to connect my record player to my sonos play5.
