Part of the 3 best mechanic tools you can buy!
This is my favorite tool and a must have along with a 1/2" impact and 3/8" Fuel Ratchet! This thing will bust pretty much any light duty truck and smaller lug nut off without breaking a sweat. Perfect for medium sized suspension work, brakes, and anything accessible in the engine bay. I use this more than any other power tool I own and I own quiet a few! Compact, heavy duty, and POWERFUL! WORTH EVERY PENNY

Amazing tool
This is one bada** little impact. I bought this to replace my air hose, I love the fact that it's so small can get into tight spaces this thing is so powerful it feels like it's going to explode in your hands it's gotten off bolts that even my air hose couldn't get off and if you're thinking about a Harbor Freight Tool I bought that one first. 370 torque my a** thing could even take off a lug nut if you work on Hondas and you're reading this it got off my harmonic balancer Bolt with a idk charged battery...just get it

Great tool

What a great tool for so many varied uses. It's become one of my most used.
I'm a woodworker and don't do much DYI automotive stuff except rotate tires, but now I might start. I bought this because I was building a "heavy" bench for a mortise press, heavy vice and some reloading presses as well. Made out of 3" full dimension red oak lumber I had a local sawmill cut . Along with 6x6 legs and a few other odd sizes. Using 5/8" x 5"and 6" galvanized lag screws to facilitate taking it apart easily if it ever needed to be moved. Even with the proper pilot holes the 100 year old oak laughed at my M12 impact driver (it really struggled) and my 20 volt Porter Cable driver gave up and let the smoke out after two. So I bought this impact wrench. This thing drove them like Childs play. Also all the mounting lags for the various tools. Mower blades were easy, worked on my lugs even though it really isn't meant for that. With the right attachments like 3/8 to hex or a swivel adapter it can do things and get into places I always did by hand because of the lack of room. One of my most used tools now. Highly recommend.

Raw Power!
I’m a professional Technician and I use this hourly at work. When testing it out on its maiden voyage it broke a reliable 22 year old 13mm impact socket removing a head bolt. Absolute respect for this much power especially because it’s so small. I was using 6.0 MHz battery and that is part of the mighty punch. This tool rarely loses a fight when trying to break bolts loose and if it doesn’t I have to back off because it’s a good chance it will break the socket. Since purchasing my average income has improved significantly and this tool is an definite must have. If it broke I would order one immediately or purchase one from a store because it’s such a must have. You will never regret this purchase. In 23 years it’s the greatest tool I’ve ever purchased hands down

Buy This Impact Now
This is my second Milwaukee Tool now. I have the 2864 (3/4 High Torque Impact) and now This 2554 Compact 3/8. Mine is paired w/ the 6.0 Amp Hour Battery which is incredible in itself. I have used my gun hard this week 3 days in a row with no charge, and on today (Friday), the battery was still fully charged. I took off lug nuts and put them on. Did drum brakes on 3 trailers, and half shaft bolts (40 to be exact). This gun is very practical in its size and weight and every bolt I have attempted to remove or tighten so far has not failed. I would definitely recommend this tool and if I lose it I will definitely buy it again. Whether you're a diesel mech, diy'er, or automotive mech, this tool is perfect for you. No regerts!

Size does matter
As I already own the M18 fuel as well as this model I wanted toshare what you should consider before buying. Firstly its a great tool as you may have already heard or read, but that comes with a few caveatS. First is the price unless there's a discount or on sale its not worth it when the M18 is nearly the same price. The next caveat is still relative to its bigger brother as this is very powerful, but within reason. Can it break loose lugs sure, but it also might not with the normal capacity battery. Im waiting for my high output battery to arrive and altho Im confident this will handle small jobs, the M18 handles EVERYTHING I've thrown at like its begging for a real challenge, Lol. It is a great tool just dont confuse it for its bigger brother without some forethought.

So happy with this.
Excellent impact wrench. All I really needed this thing for was to take off some lug nuts and a few other bolts to do the rear suspension on my Toyota tacoma. This tackle that job extremely well. I saved a load of time and energy. Honestly, I was considering buying an impact wrench battery and charger from Harbor freight, but it would have basically turned out to be the same price as this. I already had Milwaukee Tools so buying this thing was a no-brainer. The performance is really good. I'm very happy with the purchase. Get a rubber cover too. Highly recommend it.

Tool only so had to buy batteries but that was expected. I have a few other m18 tools. This is my first m12 and i was surprised at how easy it took lug nuts off a GMC 1500. Not as easily as my 1/2 inch m18 obviously. But for the size and weight it performs well and is much more nimble. Would recommend for lighter use like under 120 ft/lb anything bigger I will use my larger impacts.

this stubby impact is amazing I have used it every single day for about 3 weeks now I have broken free many big bolts and small bolts. It has loosened off axle nuts wheel nuts control arm bolts sway bar links and subframe bolts. it might have a bit of trouble depending on how rusted out or corroded the bolt is, but so far I am very impressed with this tool.

m12 fuel impact wrench is amazing for the size and even on a 2ah battery it is powerful. Box was a little dinged up, still had the factory seal tape so it wasn’t opened, tool was brand new as some claimed from this seller it wasn’t.

No they didn’t pay me to say that. Gun has lots of power and can take wheels off of Cars up to 100ftlbs tightened. Can’t take my 150ftlb Truck tires off though, have to crack them loose on the ground. Amazing elsewise. Torques then just up to 110 without sitting on the trigger too long. Pair with 6amp battery and you are laughing!
